The light was brilliant, the old town as scenic as ever and the shadow of the dog posing perfectly on the mowed lawn. I blamed myself for not taking a camera with me. As if I didn't know. Walking at the old part of Nafplio is always a good excuse for photography and no matter how many times I take the same routes, there is always something new to shoot!
I had only two options though. Try to hold the image in my mind and forget about the camera I didn't have with me or take the shot with my phone and accept the limitations of its tiny sensor.
I chose the latter :)
Walking with an overactive dog doesn't give you much time for stalling. Before I knew it we were on top of the town, crossing the fortification walls which were overgrown by wild flowers. The power of spring covers everything, even rocks!
I convinced my excited four-legged companion to stop for a few seconds so that I can take some pictures of the view and headed, with no further delay, to the meadow that we found the other day inside the walls. His favourite spot since I usually let him off leash there and he can run like a frantic demon while I take pictures of the spring flowers :)
The sea looked lovely, for one more time and I reminded myself how refreshing it is to add into my daily routine a swim. The temperature is not an excuse any more (if it ever was) but we are trying to finish a project with @traisto that took us way more than anticipated and is now at the final stage, absorbing all our time and energy.
I will tell you all about it when it's done but not just yet :)
That's all for today, just a small slice of the Greek spring and back to work :)
Have a lovely Wednesday or, in some other parts of the world, Thursday!
I took those pictures with a Redmi Note 12s mobile phone and edited them in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic.
All the pictures and the words are mine.
