Yesterday; A day filled with a fairly inspiring sequence of events.

I saw this interesting prompt where folks are urged to talk about "Yesterday" and highlight the noteworthy stuff that happened yesterday. Lol. Yesterday as y'all know was Sunday and I'm ready to share how I spent mine.

The proper way to spend my Sunday is usually by kickstarting it with a couple of activities edged toward spirituality. Over here in Nigeria, the first half of our Sundays are usually event-packed with a lot of spiritual exercises. You can already imagine how the first few hours of my day were spent. It was spent calmly and with a lot of meditation.

When all that was done, I decided to do a couple of random reading across several websites. I enjoy doing that and also vetting the facts about things I'm reading. You would be surprised that I'm also very cautious when digging into blog posts, New articles, and other stuff. Yesterday, in particular, I tried to not open a tab on any News concerning my Country.

"Why? Why would I avoid news about Nigeria?"

It's a no-brainer, isn't it? The News we get is usually about corrupt practices, cruel killings, siphoning of public funds, etc. In recent weeks, the trend has also been about the recurring attacks that crypto enthusiasts are getting in Nigeria. Even when I went to Twitter yesterday, "Binance P2P" was trending on my page. I already know what to expect and it's nothing inspiring. And, I wasn't interested in anything that would give me a sour taste on a Sunday. That's exactly why I avoided updates regarding Nigeria.

After reading a couple of stuff across several platforms, I dived into work and started collating data for an announcement post I usually draft for a project. I wrapped that up quickly, but I noticed that Hive-engine and keychain were having an off-day. I like to send out winnings about any contest/challenge I'm overseeing before publishing a post. However, because of the issue with Hive engine, I left the post on draft and got into other stuff.

After doing a fair share of work-related stuff, I got into my watchlist to watch additional episodes of an intense historical Kdrama that I've been watching since days ago. The show has 50 episodes and I'm enjoying the ride. Everything about it is superb; the action, politics, portrayal of relevant historical elements, and even the character development. I mean, this Kdrama is wholesome and I'm enjoying every bit of it.

While watching the Kdrama, I ate well-garnished spaghetti and Macaroni. I always watch something whenever I'm eating. Haha. It doesn't even matter if it's at the top of the morning or in the middle of the night... It's very rare to see me eating without watching a TV show or watching a podcast on YouTube. Interestingly, I also set my alarm for the most anticipated event of yesterday, the football game between Liverpool and Manchester City.

To be fair, I'm always head over heels at the coming of any football fixture for Liverpool. It doesn't even matter if we are up against a bunch of kindergarten kiddos. Haha. Yesterday's game was termed "the title decider" and other buzzwords were used to highlight the level of footballing rivalry that exists between Liverpool and Manchester City.

You know what? I was already preparing for this fixture two weeks ago. When the time finally came, you could bet all you have that nothing was going to stop me from enjoying that intense game. I already wrote a full match review about that. Have a look to get a raw taste of what I felt while watching this game.

Remember the post I couldn't publish because of Hive engine issue? I finally got through Hive engine by 2am (this morning). I did the transactions, got screenshots and the post is already up. Not on my page though.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
