This photo was taken in the Namib desert. The place is called Deadvlei. What you see on the photo is a sand dune up to 300 meters in hight and the white, dry riverbed. The river has dried up. There are some black, petrified trees here as well. They are up to 500 years old. An amazing otherworldly landscape.
