Hello people of this community. How are you all doing. I hope you all are doing great in your lifes and are in the best of your health and fitness. It's been a very busy week for me . I had my university going on and for the cherry on top I have my exams due in two weeks 💔😭. Also my sister who came back from abroad after her marriage came to stay at our home. I was so caught up with everything that I wasn't able to spend time with her. Before she came I made this heart.
My friend asked me to make a keychain for her long ago. I completely forgot about it but then I met her two days earlier and then she reminded me again. She was a bit mad at me that I haven't made her one yet 😂but I promised her that I will make her one as soon as possible. So I got home and was looking for ideas . As I told earlier that I am so busy now a day's with my exams so I tried to search for something that was easy to make and takes less time. Then I came across this heart and I liked the idea of it so I decided to give it a try.
For this I have used quite basic things such as two 3 ply yarn, in yellow and baby pink colour, a darning needle, 3mm crochet hook, a pair of scissors and stuffing. For this I first made a MGR(magic ring) and did 6 SC(single crochet) into the MGR. Then INC(increasing) the stitches to 12 and then for round 3 INC stitches to 18. The last round involves 18 SC only. Now I was done with one top side of the heart . I made two of them for both of the top.
After making the top, joining them is one big of a task . It is so confusing and hard that I had to undone it so many times. I decided to join them slowly without any hurry . It took me some time to do it but finally it was done and I was able to continue further. After joining the two tops of the heart you have to work with DEC (decreasing) stitches only. In Each round the stitches are decreased by 1 this heart involves total 17 rounds. In the second last round I did the stuffing. Make sure to stuff it well so that it doesn't losses its shape. Then I closed the heart at the end and weaved the end. This was the final look.
I hope you guys like it. I made it in hurry but I'm happy that how well it turned out. I haven't given this to my friend but I showed her the pictures and she was happy that I finally made her a keychain. She promised that she'll meet me soon and them I'll give it to her.
