A hug for my daughter at school.

Days before through the WhatsApp group, the teacher had anticipated that when it was the day of the family hug, the school was going to do an activity and the representative should attend and, if not, she could send another family member. She added that it is very nice that the representative is present and is interested in what is being done in the school, that is responsibility and commitment.

Knowing this pleases me, I try every time to get involved in what has to do with my daughters so that they know how much I love them and in this way strengthen the family bond.

It turns out that Family Hug Day is celebrated the second week of November, and since it fell on the weekend, the school held the activity on Monday. I arrived at 7:15 a.m., the students began to line up to sing the national anthem, two students were in charge of raising the flag.

Then a student spoke about the ephemeris of the week and it was the turn of General José Antonio Anzoátegui. He used a bond paper sheet to explain the birth of the hero, his life and work, marriage, battles and death.

Two other students told us about the family hug, which is an event that started in Venezuela in 1990. What it seeks is the union between the members of the family nucleus under the cover of values.

After their intervention, they opened the door, because some of the students and representatives arrived late and went inside the institution for the corresponding hug.

I felt happy to be able to hug my daughter during the activity, it feels like when you extend your arms you are transmitting love, affection, security, support, trust, solidarity, there are so many things that this action triggers, you have to do it every day, as many times as you can, because the loved one receives it and that is good for him and for the family.

As we were about to finish, the children gave a gift to the workers of the school, since it was their day, they represent the personnel who help with the cleaning and other tasks, my daughter was one of the students who gave a gift and that was the end of everything, and I went home, the children went to the classrooms to receive classes.
