It’s me again, your artist from The Philippines — Agnola. How’s your day you all? Are you doing fine or just fine? For today's blog, I want to share about you guys my black and white photography.

Since I was in high school, I love to take pictures. Any pictures that piques my interest. I want to capture everything, and make it black and white. Not to remove the real color and how amazing the picture was but for me to see the beauty of it in black and white. But one day I experimented with black and white film and I was happy with the result. Let’s appreciate the beauty it brings. So, here ya go.

So, let’s dive into the beauty of black and white photography

I have always been drawn to black and white photos more so than color.

“So, this is how nature look in black and white photography? It still amazed me.” That is what I’ve said when I made this shot in a black and white photography. I can’t believe I will truly love the result of it. I couldn’t wait to go out and shoot pictures, and turn them into black and white. 😁

Black and white seemed to evoke a different emotion than the pictures I was taking in color.

The story behind this photo is, it was 8pm when we are having interrupted electricity. The whole subdivision went black out. My sister lighted a candle that will served as a light since we can’t see anything. After I contacted the office of CENECO, which is responsible, I went to sat down and went to take this shot.

There was just something magical about the whole process and the end result of this shot.

I am afraid when darkness embraced me that time but that kind of darkness hit something within me and that something turned out to be uncovering the beauty of black and white shot I had taken.

Look at this photo, does is still give you the shot of a sunny day? Because, it was. While waiting for my friends, I saw this opportunity and clicked my camera. You can still see the sunny windy day, it was giving. Tell me, are you a fan of black and white photography? If you are, I am on it. Black and white photography is not merely the absence of color.

It's giving! This shot was taken when we are having some picnics. The image is beautiful but it is more beautiful when I turned it on black and white. I realized, some people will not really appreciate black and white photos but I must say this again and again, black and white photos are absolutely beautiful and meaningful.
