what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing?
In this content i want to share about the batte that make me interesting and watching twice. Usually i just skipping the battle and ignore the result whatever the result either win or lose i will just skip it. Since i feel that the battle if using rental cards will get around 2-3k sps/season even if you renting the fancy card. thats why i never seen the battle and result again. But, this time i notice that my common strategies can beat Venka. Thats why i rewatch it and want to share to you guys. That will make the morale will high and never be afraid of fancy cards. We can beat it even though the chance are slim. LOL.
This monster is really strong with 7 melee attack,5 speed,and having 4 abilities for the maxed level.
Lets break down the ability.
Charge : This ability will make melee monster can attack anywhere and will targetting the first position unit.
Piercing : This ability will make Melee or Range damage still gives damage if the damage excess the armor and hitting the health
Oppress : This ability will make double the damage when attacking units that having no attack.
Trample : This ability will make this unit will perform another attack after killing the first unit. And will attacking the next unit.
With combination this 4 ability. This monster is really super strong. Especially after Weapons Training Meta going viral and used everywhere. Or to be exact when the Grimbandun Smith always win and hard to beat with just only Chaos Legion edition. Thats why Venka live just to beat Grimbandun Smith as tanker. But, if you are conscientious, you can read this monster have weakness. It turns out that this monster is really really weak. Especially when met the ruleset that gives mediocore manacap till high manacap. This monster is very weak when encountered with units or summoner that can gives thorns ability or units that having Forcefield ability. Since this monster attack is very high and above 5 it will be just 1 damage only when encountered with units that having Forcefield ability. And this monster will be very useless since this monster just give only 1 damage everyturn. And it can be break the strategies and the opponent can turn the table.
I will share the example of my battle here.
In this battle i am using Astral Entity as summoner and using Forcefield ability monster units as tanker that is Arkemis The Bear. Thats why i am winning this battle. Lets see the ruleset
This battle having 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Ferocity that means all units will having Fury abilities that can makes double damage to taunt abilities units. The second ruleset is Might Makes Right that means both players can only summon units that having 3 or more either melee, range, or magic damage. The last but not least Deflection Field All units will have Reflection Shield ability that can make all monster that having abilities like blast,thors,reflection shield,return fire abilities will not gives any effect at all. The ruleset is seems akward and hard to choose the units to make a good strategy in this battle. The manacap that can be used is 55 which is pretty well enough and The only element that can be used in this battle is just Life and Death Element. This battle for me is really hard to be arrange. Especially with new ruleset Might makes Right.
You can see the picture above that the opponent line up. The opponent seems focused all attack to Venka The Vile as the main carry and the others is support and defense units. Maybe i will afraid to opponent Drybone Raider than Venka The Vile since i am using Arkemis The Bear as tanker. So the forcefield ability will compressing the attack to be 1 damage. Meanwhile the Drybone Raider will having 4 melee damage combined with 2 range damage and it is separated damage but targeted one units. So, the total damage will be very high especially with double strike ability.
Meanwhile in my team having 2 units that having Forcefield ability and more focusing to decrease opponent speed. So, i am utilize the speed different to make opponent having higher chance to missing attacking my units. Especially my Summoner Astral Entity gives all units dodge ability. And thanks to this summoner that debuffing 2 armor that will make opponent Summoner Grandmaster Rathe armor buff seems useless. And one monster in my team having benefit that can get another chance to get resurrected by Astral ability.
In this battle as i predicted. The opponent cannot hitting my monster. Especially after opponent magic monster units give damage to my Arkemis The Bear and activate the enrage abilities. That will make my Arkemis Speed to be 8 and it will make opponent that having range and melee attack except Venka the Vile that having high speed that having higher chance to hit my Arkemis The Bear. The others mostly missing attacking my Arkemis The Bear. And it makes my team easily break opponent line up. Especially after opponent Drybone Raider got defeated. It will very easy break opponent line up and with just 2 round it just make opponent remain one monster that is Runemancer Atuat and activate The Last Stand ability that can double the magic attack and health. But, it seems useless since the only units that defeated in my line up is just Arkemis The Bear and leaving 5 another monster units that having attack below 5 damage so many abilities from Runemancer Atuat will be useless. And it makes my line up easily defeated the last monster Runemancer Atuat at this time.
