Ayer siguió lloviendo, el clima cambió repentinamente y estos días, si no sales temprano, para el mediodía ya está lloviendo. La temperatura no sube de los 17°C, así que decidí comprar algo de comer y quedarme en casa. Estuve revisando algunos ejercicios de referencia en Pinterest y decidí hacer uno simple.
Hello Hivers, good start of the week to all of you! I hope all your projects are flowing smoothly. Yesterday it kept raining, the weather suddenly changed and these days, if you don't leave early, it's raining by noon. The temperature doesn't go above 17°C, so I decided to buy some food and stay at home. I was checking out some reference exercises on Pinterest and decided to do a simple one.
Comencé bosquejando la silueta en general del árbol, dándole el aspecto retorcido que quería obtener.
I started sketching the overall silhouette of the tree, giving it the twisted look I wanted to achieve.
Luego, en otra capa, agregué el color, solo la base sin detallarlo demasiado. La idea es mantenerlo simple.
Then, on another layer, I added the color, just the base without adding too much detail. The idea is to keep it simple.
Y, por último, trabajar un poco las sombras y los brillos en capas separadas. Este fue realmente un ejercicio rápido, no me llevó más de unos 20 minutos, pero me he dado cuenta de cuánto aportan estos 20 minutos para mañana. Ahí va poco a poco.
En particular, este ejercicio me gustó bastante.

And finally, work a bit on the shadows and highlights in separate layers. This was really a quick exercise, it didn't take me more than about 20 minutes, but I've realized how much these 20 minutes contribute for tomorrow. There it goes little by little.
In particular, I quite liked this exercise.
I spent the rest of the day doing more, which I'll show you on another occasion.
