Breakfast Of Cornmeal Porridge With Cinnamon πŸ₯£

    Hope you are all enjoying a healthy week with some sunshine β˜€οΈ, and eating something to boost your energy and staying light at the sane time, like some cornmeal porridge 🌽for breakfast which is what my recipe is about today.

    Have you ever consider making recipes from corn 🌽 which is also known as maize. This plant base grain seen also as fruit and vegetables is so versatile in our food preparation because its a staple in many countries.

    Corn 🌽 is full of lots of healthy hearts benefits , aiding indigestion, improving eye πŸ‘ health, moderately affects our blood 🩸 sugar and provides us with lots of nutrients and vitamins. We can enjoy corn making popcorn, cornmeal, cornbread or even tortillas.

    My today’s corn recipe I made to share with you is that of cornmeal porridge for breakfast from an already processed dry corn that is usually blended with industrial machines after the corn has been soaked with water for about two (2) days. Will then be processed by separating the corn chaffs from the starch gradually. Its however packaged and sold in supermarkets cold rooms. This I purchased while shopping πŸ› during the week.

    This super cornmeal taste so delicious, makes a healthy and hearty β™₯️ breakfast with some cinnamon spice, creamy cocoa and peanuts. Its warming , tasty and filling. I have made this corn porridge πŸ₯£ about twice now and it’ quickly became on my weekly rotation of recipes to make for breakfast Its however so simple and requires just few ingredients

    Here I show you the process step by step for this recipe.

    INGREDIENTS:

    5 tablespoons of corn starch
    1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
    2 teaspoon of premium sugar
    1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
    1 packet of peanut
    1 glass of water

    STEPS FOR PREPARATION:

    Step 1.

    I will start this recipe by taking the required cornmeal quantity into the bowl πŸ₯£ as above.

    Step 2.

    I will add some water into the corn starch here to gradually dissolve it into a puree making sure it’s not too thick or over watery.

    Next I will take the dissolved corn starch purΓ©e into a pot here

    Step 4.

    Will place the pot on the cooker and start stirring the liquid immediately as it begins y to thicken

    Then added the cinnamon and premium sugar here above.

    Step 5.

    Stir them in thoroughly incorporating here.

    And set it down afterwards .

    Here will serve the cornmeal scooping gradually as above.

    And dissolved some cocoa powder with warm water to add to it.

    Yummy 🀀. Traditionally, this plant base cornmeal porridge is sweetened with coconut condensed milk for vegan 🌱 lovers as plant base diet as it adds some amazing creamy texture to the recipe. However maple syrup, cane or coconut sugar are equally good.
