This is an evening at the very core of the rain forest, when the showers end and the sun has finally gone down and every creature in the jungle goes to this special place. The old ones, their neural pathways amassed with life lessons woven into their feathers and fur, bequeath accounts of existence and people’s interconnectedness. In the midst of the hushed twittering of the branches, the rising swell of staccato acclamation can be heard, the harmony for which living in wilderness is so worthy. In the moon glares and the luminosity of the sky, jungle is asleep, awaiting to start the next chapter of the day.
