It's been a while since I participated in Hive Power Up Day!
This image was generated by Leonald.ai and I feel that building up HIVE POWER is a really long journey🤗 This time I powered up on my own account @go-kyo then delegated +200HP to @hive-ja, which I manage. It is an account to support the Japanese community and was created last fall.
Sold some $ETH (again🤣)
Again, in powering up $HIVE, the first question was how to prepare liquid $HIVE.
I usually keep very little liquid funds in my Hive account. I have HP (HIVE POWER), LP (LEO POWER), Staked SPS, etc., all of which I cannot move immediately…
So I would have to bring in funds from outside the Hive chain, but I have sold most of my altcoins over the last year. So I decided to sell some $ETH again.
I converted $ETH to $XRP at SBI VC Trade, a Japanese exchange, and transferred the money via SimpleSwap. It was around 11:00 a.m. when I made the reservation for the withdrawal, and the transfer was actually completed at 2:00 p.m. I was almost angry again that it took 3 hours to review a withdrawal of less than $140... but, well, I had no choice.
Two minutes after completing the withdrawal from SBI VC Trade, I received an email from SimpleSwap saying that the exchange was complete. I like SimpleSwap because it is really as simple as its name.
Now it's time to power up!
Of the 377 HIVEs deposited, I powered up 250 HIVE. This is the first time I tried powering up from my InLeo wallet.
The remaining liquid $HIVE will be kept for use in distributing rewards within the Japanese community and purchasing art in the NFT Showroom.
Then, I delegated an additional 200HP to Hive JA's community support account @hive-ja. Recently, we had been one step away from 10,000HP due to the continuous additional delegations by our wonderful community members.
I had already delegated 2,290HP to @hive-ja, so to delegate an additional 200HP, I entered the cumulative total of 2,490HP. For some reason the delegate did not work from InLeo wallet, so I used Ecency.
Plus! Using 1,500 Ecency points, we will borrow 202 HP from @ecency for a week starting today. With the power-up and delegate, our community support account now has 10,371 HP! Thanks to @akipponn for donating the points, thanks @alkirua for the additional delegation🙏🙏
My own account is now at 7,724 HP, but I have delegated much of it, so I have 3,816 HP of power on hand.
My thoughts on HIVE POWER
Initially, I was a little unhappy about HP, thinking that it was inconvenient that I could not withdraw immediately. But now I like the way it works.
The good thing is that by keeping it in stake status, I can prevent unnerving sales and participate in this ecosystem for the long term, and I can hold a lot of resource credits as well as interest, and generate more rewards with upvotes.
Also, my favorite feature of Hive is definitely "delegation", which is also available through HIVE POWER. By delegating some of your power to someone else, you can support and help them. I have also been helped by delegation myself.
You don't need to move $HIVE out of your wallet for delegation. And only delegators can delegate or undelegate them. So you can delegate with peace of mind (without worrying about taking your money away).
I don't know what inspired the HIVE "delegation" feature (I know it's in Steem, of course), but I think it's a great invention and a very human feature of the HIVE chain, which is based on social networking.

久しぶりの Hive Power Up Day 参加です！
今回は@go-kyoで250HPをパワーアップした後、Hive JAコミュニティの支援アカウントである@hive-jaに200HPを追加でdelegateしました。

今回もパワーアップにあたり、まずはどうやって流動$HIVEを用意するかが問題になりました。。
私は普段、Hiveアカウントに流動資金をほとんど置いていません。私が持っているのは、HP(HIVE POWER)、LP(LEO POWER)、Staked SPSなど、どれもこれもすぐに動かせないものばかり・・・
となると、Hiveチェーンの外から資金を持ってこなければならないのですが、私は去年までに草コイン的なものはほとんど処分してしまいました。ということで、また$ETHをちょっとだけ売ることにしました。どういうわけか、$BTCは売ってはいけないという気持ちがあるのですが、$ETHは・・・・・・
国内取引所SBI VC Tradeで$ETHを$XRPに換えて、SimpleSwap経由で送金。出庫予約をしたのが午前11時頃、そこから審査を経て実際に送金が完了したのが14時でした。2万円ちょっとの出金の審査に3時間も掛かるのか・・・と再び腹を立てそうになりましたが、仕方ないですね。
SBI VC Tradeからの出金完了後、2分後にはSimpleSwapから両替完了のメールが届きました。早い！SimpleSwapはその名の通り、本当にシンプルで好きです。
いざ、パワーアップ！
着金した377HIVEのうち、250HIVEをパワーアップさせます。初めてInLeoのウォレットからパワーアップを試してみました。
残りの流動$HIVEは、日本語コミュニティ内での特典配布やNFT Showroomでのアート購入などで使うため残しておきます。
続いて、Hive JAのコミュニティ支援アカウント@hive-jaに、追加で200HPをdelegateします。最近、コミュニティの皆さんが続けて追加のdelegateをしてくださったこともあり、10,000HPまであと一歩！というところまで来ていました。
私は@hive-jaに2,290HPをデリゲート済だったので、追加で200HPをデリゲートするには累計の2,490HPと入力します。デリゲートはなぜかInLeoウォレットから上手く行かなかったので、Ecencyを使いました。
さらに！Ecencyポイント1,500を利用して、@ecencyさんから202HPを今日から一週間お借りします。パワーアップとデリゲートにより、コミュニティ支援アカウントのHPは10,371となりました。ポイント寄附してくださった@akipponnさん、本日追加でデリゲートしてくださった@alkiruaさん、ありがとうございます🙏

HIVE POWERについて
当初は疑問というか、「えー、すぐに引き出せないなんて・・・」とちょっと不満に感じていたHIVE POWERでしたが、今ではこのしくみが好きです。
ステーク状態にしておくことで狼狽売り（私の得意技）を防いで長期でこのエコシステムに参加することができるようになるし、利息だけでなく多くのリソースクレジットを保有することができたり、Upvoteでより多くの報酬を生み出せたりするのも良い点です。
また私がHiveで最も気に入っている機能は間違いなく「デリゲート」なのですが、それもHIVE POWERを通じて利用できる機能です。自分の力の一部を誰かに託すことで、応援したり、助けたりすることができます。また私自身もこれまでデリゲートに助けられてきました。今もです😊
影響力を貸すだけなので$HIVEをウォレットから動かす必要はなく、委任も解除も「委任する側」からしかできません。だから持ち逃げされる心配をすることなく、安心して委任することができます。
HIVEの「デリゲート」機能が何にインスパイアされたものなのか、他のチェーンを参考にしたしくみなのかどうか私は知りませんが（もちろんSteemに同じしくみがあることは知っていますが）SNSがベースであるHIVEチェーンらしい血の通った機能であり、ステキな発明だと思っています。
