Today I will have a not quite traditional post for the Fungi Friday topic. I finally realized my idea to buy mushroom mycelium for growing at home. Oh no! I'm not going to re-equip my basement into a plantation of these mushrooms! These small sets were created for those who want to grow champignons as a hobby. Like any other indoor plants.
You get a box with two packages. In a large bag, there is soil sown with mushroom mycelium. You can see that this soil is a little white. In the second, small bag, a little steep for the top layer. The set comes with an instruction with a step-by-step algorithm. Nothing complicated!
I say nothing complicated with confidence, because I have already had such an experience before. Everything turned out just fine and my harvest of mushrooms was good enough.
