A friend of mine has been on the road for a couple months now travelling the South East of Asia. It took some decent effort to get that done, and as we speak the travel will be coming to an end in the very near future. The funny thing is that my friend ended up nearly exactly at this same place as where I was a while back and took this fantastic shot.
I have good memories of this beach here while chilling. Next to me there was an influencer at the time who didn't rent out a room, but seem to be chilling out for a bit. But she was only there by herself to make the perfect shot of herself running into the ocean and then she took off again just as quickly as that she had came. It was baffling and hilarious at the same time. Seeing someone take all that effort to make the video but she didn't seem to enjoy how awesome the scene there actually was.
Sure that influencer was on the road, but it seemed to be more like work. While the ones who are actually really enjoying need to make all of that effort to get there and it always seems to short.
In that perspective I like to balance it out for a bit. Take the time off that you need and want, and play ball another period of time. But that balance is leaning more and more towards an other angle if you ask me, and there is no reason at all to wait to do stuff until retirement.
Id love to hoover back towards this bed and stare over the moonlight, even if it is only for the night. But that....we can keep on dreaming about
