Luke 10:18-20; Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)
KEY VERSE:
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19 KJV).
INTRODUCTION :
Where Jesus sends, He equips and protects from the evil of the world.
MESSAGE:
The world is rife with peril, malevolence and duplicity. As followers of Christ, we are beset by spiritual foes who lie in wait, poised to poison our existence with their dishonesty and wickedness.
However, wherever Jesus sends us, He also provides the means to overcome. By walking in His truth through His power, He shields us from the lies and evil that pervade the world as well as from the machinations of our adversaries so that through us His truth may glorify Him.
We must remain ever-vigilant and cognizant of the hazards that surround us. Our enemies never cease looking for ways to deceive or harm us; nevertheless, we can take solace knowing that God is always present with us. Through grounding ourselves in His veracity while depending on His mightiness, we can surmount any obstacle placed before us. While continuing steadfastly in faithfulness let it be remembered that we are not alone nor vulnerable since God's protection forever accompanies us. May His truth radiate throughout our lives bringing honor to Him.
Let it be further recalled that sharing this truth is a responsibility resting upon each Christian's shoulders. We have been called to shine forth as lights amid a darkened world while spreading abroad God's love among those around about us. This verity should never be kept only unto ourselves but shared boldly and valiantly instead; thereby leading others out of darkness into Christ's light where they too may find peace within their hearts.
As life unfolds before each one of us there will be many trials along with various challenges which arise daily; yet even so do not despair because God remains present alongside at all times regardless how difficult or lengthy this path becomes for you personally! No matter what adversity comes your way trust fully in both His grace-filled love sustaining you during every moment no matter how bleak things appear right now! Walk confidently forward being guided by Truth itself towards brighter days ahead!
Remember always to pray on behalf of one another lifting up fellow believers when needed most offering encouragement whenever possible helping them stand strong amidst whatever circumstances they face at any given time! Together united as members within this community devoted solely unto following after Jesus Christ Himself shall enable overcoming every obstacle encountered thus bringing glory directly back onto Father above!
In all matters place complete trust within Lord leaning not upon personal understanding because He truly remains faithful without fail keeping promises made completely intact until fulfilled entirely beyond anyone’s wildest dreams! Keep walking steady towards realization found solely inside unwavering commitment toward being authentic disciples while sharing same message throughout entire world wherein hope together with joy discovered exclusively within personhood belonging directly unto Jesus Christ alone reigns supreme!
PRAYER
Almighty Father, thank You for calling me to the good work of Your kingdom. Please guide my steps as I walk, so that I may remain in Your truth. Give me eyes to see the danger that awaits, and the power to stomp any lie that might lead me astray or cause me to stumble. In Jesus' name - Amen.
