Insecurity is a nightmare to any country. It is worse than 🦀 Cancer. This is because a person with Cancer go chemotherapy, know that his life is fragile, and have 50/50 chance to survive or die.
But in a country where there is no security, you don't know what will happen next 24 hours. this is the reason the citizens are afraid because anything can happen in a twinkle of an eye.
What Makes a Country Feel Insecure?
Poor or Inadequate Security System: Poor or inadequate security system can make a country unrest. A country with poor security system is a country that cannot be accountable for the number of immigrants that entry in a daily basis. Nigeria is one of those countries, who cannot tell the number of immigrants coming in. Our borders are widely open, and immigrants can pass through jungles without international passport. And when you get in to the Nigeria as a immigrant, there is no technology to search for you. You can leave anywhere without questioning you. Despite the closure of borders in Nigeria, traders are still importing goods and services from another country to Nigeria through borders.
We all know that when a country closed a border and restrict traders from importing and exporting items. No one is permitted to import and export through borders. But the case of Nigeria is not so, thousands of traders are importing and exporting items as a result of corrupt officers guiding borders.

Corruption and Money Laundering: Corruption and money laundering is a big threat to the growth and economy of a country; both factors can impoverish a nation. This is the reason a country with resources is suffering from poverty, lack and want.
I have seen many incomplete projects that was announced that was completed of which billion were spent on such projects.
I have read from different publish of projects that were not done of which the government paid everything.
I have read newspaper where government officers siphoned billion from office! Yet, another nothing is done.
The system of the country all those that are in-charge to embezzle government funds.
I heard a young man stole #20 ($0.0012) from 3 years old and the man was sentenced to 15 years in prison. According to the man, “I have nothing to eat, that was the reason I stole the money from the child to buy garri”.
Yet, the man was not pardon; he was sentenced to 15 years just because of #20 where as our leaders siphoned billion of naira and nothing was done to our leaders.
They laundered our money to other countries, take their families there, buy houses and cars over there. They live as kings and queens with the money that should be used to do something beneficial to the citizens.
The citizens are living like dogs, and servants; some citizens cannot afford 3 meals in a day. Some cannot eat what they want to eat, they eat anything available for them.
January 2023, I heard that former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disasters Management and Social Development embezzled #35 billion. The money was for some people but she diverted the public fund to her account. She refused to pay the citizens that were entitled to it for months.
She was not kill, she was under investigation.
I'm sure she will be freely release.

Bad Leaders: The politicians forgot their primary assignment which to serve the citizens they represent and focus on their pockets. Some of the politicians are not there at the interest of their citizens. That is the reason you see them with pot belly; they eat the money and everything that The whole state, local government, constituency, ward should have eaten.
I was not happy when I had that palliatives that was made for citizens was not shared. Hundred thousands of bag of rice and other food items were wasted. This is wickedness of the highest other. Even there family members cannot finish that food items till they will die.
The Laws are not for Everyone: there are people that are above the laws in this country. Whatever they do, it is gone; if they do bad things, they can't be judged. Just imagine that man that stole #20 was sentenced for 15 years where as someone that stole over #10 billion was given six months in prison.

Crime and Banditry: No one is safe because you don't know maybe your neighbor is a criminal. This is a country you will wake up in the morning as hear the news of mass killing by criminals and banditries.
You cannot longer walking in the night because some can easily attack you and collect everything in you are holding.
This is a country where criminals will rub in a brought day light. Not only in a quite place but also in a crowded environment.
They will collect phone, and ATM card while others will be passing without helping you.
This is a country where a person or a group of people will be kidnapped; and kidnappers demand for ransom.
Probably, you might know the kidnappers but you cannot report to police because the police can also set you up.
This is a country where criminals, bandits, kidnappers are friends with security officers- police, solder, army etc.
A country cannot be saved if security officers are in friends to criminals. The citizens have to suffer the consequences.
This is a country where police officers demanded there percentage from criminals after accomplishments.
I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness. Success comes to the people who are desperately and consciously searching for it. When it seems unsuccessful or you smell failure around you, never discourage yourself from being successful.
