Saludos gente linda de #TheAnimeRealm. Hace un mes todo el mundo hablaba de lo espectacular que fue la adaptación al Live Action de Avatar: The Last Airbender. Y pues, después de pensarlo mucho decidí darle una oportunidad, no sólo a esta nueva versión sino también a la animada.

El mes pasado se estrenó con mucho auge y aceptación el Live Action de La Leyenda de Aang. Yo tenía mis dudas de verla ya que la primera película que sacaron de esta serie (aunque me gustó mucho pero tuvo demasiadas variaciones y fue ultra resumida), me dejó inconforme y temía que esta versión causara el mismo efecto.
La verdad es que pasó lo contrario, la serie me encantó, tanto que me dieron ganas de volver a ver la serie animada completa, las tres temporadas (y yo creyendo que tenía 4 en total y que no estaba completa en Netflix pero no, Mea Culpa). Hacer esto me permitió hacer una comparación completa entre la serie animada y el Live Action, de eso tratará mi post de hoy.

Primero y principal debo admitir que el elenco seleccionado dio en el clavo por completo. Con todos, absolutamente todos. Y esto era una de las cosas que más temía que Netflix hiciera de las suyas haciendo una inclusión forzada como la que hicieron en el Live Action de Jóvenes Titanes. Si, aún no supero ni me termina de gustar la negrita que interpreta a Starfire, ella es mi personaje favorito de esa saga y pasaron de esto a eso.

Lo siento, es que tuve que hacer la acotación, para que vean a lo que me refiero, para mí esa adaptación fue una decepción. Si tiene buenos efectos y trama pero cuando descuadra un personaje así con tal magnitud, hace que me duelan los ojos y no puedo continuarla viendo. Pero no estoy aquí para hablar de Jóvenes Titanes sino de Aang y su serie.
Y ess que claro! esta vez los de Netflix se contuvieron de hacer algo tan alocado con sus inclusiones porque estaban bajo la dirección completa de la gente de Nickelodeon y sus creadores quienes exigieron los que deberían interpretar esta vez a sus personajes. Y ¿adivinen qué? Exigieron de manera excelente porque todos se me parecen a los personajes animados.

Lo que más me gustó de la adaptación en el Live Action es que lograron mantener la trama lo más ajustada posible a la serie animada, es decir, por supuesto que hubo variantes, pero fueron mínimas y se ajustan fácilmente a lo que pudo ocurrir en la animación.
Otro punto a favor que le doy al Live Action es que tomaron en cuenta personajes extras que son bastante importantes, no solamente para la primera temporada sino para las próximas que vienen. A pesar de que son personajes secundarios, resultan clave para que se desarrolle la trama apropiadamente.

Me gustó tanto la adaptación del Live Action que terminándola de ver, volví a mirar la serie animada como por 4ta vez y me encantó. Actualmente estoy viendo La Leyenda de Korra, pero dejaré mi opinión de esa serie para otro post.
Por un trabajo bien hecho, una historia que entretiene bastante y deja una enseñanza al verla, además de generar buen humor. De mi parte tiene y tendrá 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 de 5 Estrellitas Doradas tanto el Live Action como la Serie Animada. Así que de mi parte les recomiendo ver ambas.

Greetings beautiful people of #TheAnimeRealm. A month ago everyone was talking about how spectacular the Live Action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender was. And well, after thinking about it a lot I decided to give it a chance, not only to this new version but also to the animated one.

Last month the Live Action of The Legend of Aang was released with much hype and acceptance. I had doubts about seeing it since the first movie they released of this series (although I liked it a lot it had too many variations and was ultra-abridged), it left me unsatisfied and I was afraid that this version would cause the same effect.
The truth is that the opposite happened, I loved the series, so much that it made me want to re-watch the entire animated series, all three seasons (and I thought I had 4 in total and that it wasn't complete on Netflix but no, Mea Culpa). Doing this allowed me to do a full comparison between the animated series and the Live Action, that's what my post today will be about.

First and foremost I must admit that the selected cast hit the nail on the head completely. With everyone, absolutely everyone. And this was one of the things I was most afraid that Netflix would do their thing by doing a forced inclusion like they did in the Live Action of Teen Titans. Yeah, I'm still not over or over liking the little black girl who plays Starfire, she's my favorite character from that saga and they went from this to that.

I'm sorry, I just had to comment, so you can see what I mean, for me that adaptation was a disappointment. Yes, it has good effects and plot but when you mess up a character like that with such magnitude, it makes my eyes hurt and I can't continue watching it. But I'm not here to talk about Teen Titans but about Aang and his series.
And of course! This time the Netflix folks held back from doing something so crazy with their inclusions because they were under the full direction of the Nickelodeon people and their creators who demanded the ones who should play their characters this time. And guess what? They demanded excellently because they all looked like the animated characters to me.

What I liked most about the adaptation in Live Action is that they managed to keep the plot as tight as possible to the animated series, that is, of course, there were variations, but they were minimal and easily adjusted to what could have happened in the animation.
Another point in favor I give to Live Action is that they took into account extra characters that are quite important, not only for the first season but for the next ones to come. Even though they are secondary characters, they are key for the plot to develop properly.

I liked the Live Action adaptation so much that after I finished watching it, I rewatched the animated series for like the 4th time and loved it. I'm currently watching The Legend of Korra, but I'll leave my opinion of that series for another post.
For a job well done, a story that entertains a lot and leaves teaching when watching it, besides generating good humor. For my part, it has and will have 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 of 5 Little Golden Stars both the Live Action and the Animated Series. So I recommend you to watch both.
