    Reflections Quest

Intentional photography of reflections when relaxing into scenery surrounding us, perhaps a stark reality of looking into a mirror seeing an image distinctly giving two.

There are moments when in certain areas this option opens up to make normal become apparent a little more than it may actually be. White bench along this little dam appears under dull cloudy sky in an outdoor setting that gave a contented feel when developing, actually looking around what to work with.

Zebra alongside water another attempt at capturing reflection, unfortunately unable to alight the vehicle had to do what was more than achieved with wildlife on water pans previously. Yes many attempts, as many failures if not more, trying to capture the magic before you forget.

Hammerkop bird wading through water, angle of sun was in my favour being late afternoon, the bird is dark, some adjustment required here with GIMP assistance to adjust slightly.

Egyptian Goose with all the little ones ahead on the river late afternoon throwing light off the reeds on opposite bank affording some amazing reflections on both the grasses and the goose family.

Dead waterfowl now this I might add was over a distance to try identify what I was actually looking at, revealing amazing reflection as it floated between the reeds. Reeds within ponds are a problem in obtaining perfect reflection photography more often than not, this photo was pure fluke!

Wind rippling water another problem on larger body of water, it is always good to be out attempting different talents with lighting in nature at different times during the day. Thanks for joining me showing a few mirror reflections.
