THE WAY TO MY HEART

The way to my heart 😍 hehehe

I used to say food was the way to my heart not until I met my beloved 😍, I was then I knew I was just doing child's play. I was always known to eat a lot so I was said to be a foodie, although I don't eat without control 😩.

Like I said it was after I met my special someone(my beloved) that I knew food is not the way to my heart, or should I say I knew before then but just decided to live with the thought that food is the way to my heart before I tell you the way to my heart I would like to tell you a little story. Should we take a ride or trek 🤔 ok let's trek it's exercise, it is good for your health.

I'm not saying parents didn't do a good job raising us as kids, they did an almost perfect job. I'll give that to them. They tried very well, but one thing I didn't really experience was my parents listening to me when I needed to . I had four elder siblings and a younger brother so I was always left with my siblings and my parents were always away. My parents didn't really work very far from home. They both come back home everyday but they are always tired and they leave the house very early so there wasn't time for parents and children to talk.

Don't worry it is about getting to the interesting part, don't get tired too soon 😀.
So I knew my beloved from my teens. We attended the same church but didn't really know each other, then we got to know each other at our church camp. That's a story for another day. We got talking as friends and after sometime I noticed he always listened and said less that caught my interest and I tagged him my best friend even though he said he doesn't have a bestfriend I was doing the bestie things one sided. One day he popped the question just like that 😅 although I did small forming.

Now the way to my heart is an attentive ear 😀 not just an attentive ear but listen and prefer a solution, like he would always say

I'm solution driven

He was always ready to listen and not just listen but give solutions most time I'll start by saying;
Me : I want to rant 😡
Him: go ahead please
Me : …………..
Him: Are you done?
Me : yes
This is the part I love most,the part where he says this is how it is done and not like this, do it like this and you will get the results and vice versa.
I love that man😍.

So like I said the way to my heart is through an attentive ear and maybe food 😁🤦. Therefore people, this is the end of the journey.
