I walk for health & enjoyment. As I get back to this activity, I would like to walk for a minimum of an hour each day & I'm shooting for 10,000 steps.
On This Walk......
Trying to figure out how to get my 10,000 steps in has been a real task & seems to be getting more & more time consuming than I would like it to be. It still has taken an hour & 32 minutes to complete my walk & still didn’t get to 10,000 steps.
The Music That Moves Me
Adding some of the music I listened to today. As always, I start with what's playing when I start, then what's playing about halfway through, & end with what brings me home.
On March 26th it was 8:40am when I left the house and to start my walk off ‘Bug-A-Boo’ by ‘Destiny’s Childs’ was playing.
At 9:22am & 4598 activity steps, ‘Nasty’ by ‘Janet Jackson’ was playing. This 42 minutes after my start & things were definite;y on track as I thought adding in some extra steps in the earlier part of my walk would improve the timing & step count.
At the 1 hour mark @ 9:40am & 6383 steps later, I thought I was making progress but things aren’t always as good as it seems.
When I finally reached home at 10:12am & 9324 activity steps, still yet another 32 minutes later. This is still too long for me to be walking and I need to find a solution soon. I wanted to return to walking because I thought it would be good for me but I find the walks even more tiring than just sitting around being bored. Anyway, the song that brought me home was ‘Michael Jackson's’ ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’.
While I didn’t make it to 10,000 steps, I wasn’t too worried about it as I knew I was going to get more steps in today while doing laundry. I’m still trying to make my goal but for health reasons I have to find me some new methods for getting activity points.
