Para esta semana en Encuentro de Talentos, nuestra @angelica7 nos invita a mover el pensamiento y las letras en base al interesante tema “El poder de la comunidad”. Tengan un lindo día y una maravillosa noche de talento y emociones compartidas.

Entrando en tema, la familia es la principal comunidad donde compartimos, aprendemos, desaprendemos y reforzamos valores basados en el respeto, que nos permiten desarrollarnos fuera del núcleo familiar aunque eso es algo que en la actualidad no enseñan en algunas familias y es un tema para otra comunidad.

La segunda comunidad más cercana son los vecinos. Nunca olvido aquella vez que a los diez años, mi hijo mayor convulsionó en casa, donde me encontraba sola con los dos niños. No sabía qué hacer con uno en brazos y el otro en el piso. Comencé a gritar y a llorar desesperada. Los vecinos saltaron la pared para abrir la puerta y auxiliarme. La vecina del lado agarró al bebé y me dijo que fuera tranquila que ella se quedaba hasta que apareciera mi esposo. Los vecinos del frente subieron a mi hijo mayor al carro y nos llevaron al ambulatorio más cercano para que fuera atendido.

También hacemos comunidad en la escuela, el liceo y la universidad y luego tenemos la comunidad laboral. En estas comunidades conocemos a los amigos que conforman el grupo de intereses comunes y afectivos, con los que socializamos frecuentemente. Como quiera que sea, además de los puntos coincidentes entre los miembros de una comunidad, en ocasiones suelen suceder impases; unos se remedian, otros dejan enemistad. Son muchas las razones por las cuales las comunidades evolucionan.

Dejo esa acotación del final del último párrafo, para centrarme en recordar que en el tiempo de pandemia, se formó un grupo nutrido de vecinos con los que compartí por primera vez; dicho por ellos mismos, pensaron que yo era una antipática porque no pasaba de un saludo. En ese tiempo, formamos un parrandón, un grupo de bolas criollas y cuánta cosa se nos ocurría, lo último que planificamos fue un concurso de boleros llamado “Noche Romántica”. Salíamos corriendo cuando divisábamos al covibus. Realmente, en esos días fue cuando conocí a muchos de mis vecinos por sus nombres y ellos tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerme. Fueron felices esos días pero, después todo volvió a la normalidad, quedando pequeños grupos con intereses afines.

En fin en comunidad compartimos afectos, acuerdos, desacuerdos y también formamos pequeños grupos; desarrollamos espíritu colaborativo mediante el cual nos ayudamos. Cuando nos identificamos con una comunidad y considerando que florece el sentido de pertenencia, asumimos compromiso comunitario para satisfacer necesidades, resolver problemas y otros aspectos; buscando mejorar como personas individuales y como personas que pertenecen a un colectivo.

Going into the topic, the family is the main community where we share, learn, unlearn and reinforce values based on respect, which allow us to develop outside the family nucleus although that is something that is not currently taught in some families and is a topic for another community.
The second closest community is our neighbors. I never forget the time when, at the age of ten, my eldest son convulsed at home, where I was alone with the two children. I didn't know what to do with one in my arms and the other on the floor. I started screaming and crying in despair. The neighbors jumped over the wall to open the door and help me. The next door neighbor grabbed the baby and told me to be calm and that she would stay until my husband showed up. The neighbors across the street put my oldest son in the car and took us to the nearest clinic to get him treated.
We also have community in school, high school and college and then we have the work community. In these communities we meet the friends who make up the common and affective interest group, with whom we socialize frequently. However, in addition to the points of agreement between the members of a community, sometimes there are impasses; some are remedied, others leave enmity. There are many reasons why communities evolve.
I leave that remark at the end of the last paragraph, to focus on remembering that in the time of pandemic, a large group of neighbors was formed with whom I shared for the first time; said by themselves, they thought I was unfriendly because I did not go beyond a greeting. At that time, we formed a parrandón, a group of bolas criollas and whatever else we could think of, the last thing we planned was a bolero contest called "Noche Romántica" (Romantic Night). We would run away when we spotted the bus. Actually, it was in those days that I got to know many of my neighbors by name and they had the opportunity to meet me. Those were happy days, but then everything went back to normal, leaving small groups with similar interests.
Finally, in community we share affections, agreements, disagreements and we also form small groups; we develop a collaborative spirit through which we help each other. When we identify with a community and considering that the sense of belonging flourishes, we assume community commitment to meet needs, solve problems and other aspects; seeking to improve as individuals and as people who belong to a collective.
