MWM|| CROCHET LEMONS 🍋🍋

Feliz y bendecido Lunes mis queridos y apreciados needleworkers, espero que se encuentren muy bien y con mucha energía para iniciar una nueva semana de labores de agujas.

El día de hoy les comparto un nuevo tejido relacionado con mi proyecto de frutas y vegetales a crochet. En esta oportunidad se trata de unos bonitos limones amarillos.

Today I share with you a new knitting related to my crochet fruits and vegetables project. This time it's about some nice yellow lemons.

Cuando inicié con esta idea de tejer frutas y vegetales, no imaginé que serían tantas, sin embargo, cada vez que me dedico a buscar nuevos patrones de frutas, me encuentro con algunas frutas que no había tomado en cuenta al principio del proyecto. Tal es el caso del Limón, no había anotado esta fruta en mi lista, pero al ver imagines de limones tejidos me parecieron muy lindos y sin duda, una fruta que no puede faltar en este proyecto.

When I started with this idea of knitting fruits and vegetables, I did not imagine that there would be so many, however, every time I look for new fruit patterns, I come across some fruits that I had not taken into account at the beginning of the project. Such is the case of the Lemon, I had not noted this fruit on my list, but when I saw images of knitted lemons I found them very cute and certainly a fruit that can not miss in this project.

Por lo general, los limones son de color verde y algunos de un color amarillo muy particular, tan particular que incluso existe un color llamado amarillo limón. Pues, precisamente no contaba con ese color en mi caja de hilos de tejer, pero en realidad no quise tejerlos de color verde, ya que me gusta más como se ven en color amarillo, así que decidí tejerlos con el único hilo amarillo que tenía disponible y el resultado fue bastante aceptable.

Generally, lemons are green and some are of a very particular yellow color, so particular that there is even a color called lemon yellow. Well, I didn't have that color in my box of knitting yarns, but I didn't really want to knit them in green, since I like the way they look in yellow, so I decided to knit them with the only yellow yarn I had available and the result was quite acceptable.

El patrón es bastante simple realmente. Solo tomé como referencia una imagen de Pinerest y aunque no tenía ningún gráfico logré sacar la forma del limón sin ninguna complicación. También logré hacer la hojita con el mismo patrón que he usado para las hojas de las otras frutas que he tejido hasta ahora. Estos limones se pueden usar como apliques para agarra ollas, pañitos de cocina e incluso en un delantal, pero también son ideales para hacer posavasos, si los hacemos un poco más grandes.

The pattern is quite simple really. I just took as a reference an image from Pinerest and although I didn't have any graphics I managed to get the shape of the lemon without any complications. I also managed to make the leaf with the same pattern I've used for the leaves of the other fruits I've knitted so far. These lemons can be used as appliqués for pot holders, kitchen towels and even on an apron, but they are also ideal for making coasters, if we make them a little bigger.

Debo decir que me está gustando mucho este proyecto, es bonito ir descubriendo nuevos patrones de frutas que aún me faltan por tejer. Intentaré hacer tantas frutas como patrones pueda encontrar, quizá mi único limitante podrá ser encontrar los colores de hilo exactos o más parecidos a los vegetales que faltan por tejer, no obstante, seguiré adelante con este proyecto y les seguiré compartiendo mis avances.

I must say that I'm really enjoying this project, it's nice to discover new fruit patterns that I have yet to knit. I will try to make as many fruits as I can find patterns, maybe my only limitation may be to find the exact yarn colors or more similar to the vegetables that are missing, however, I will continue with this project and I will continue to share my progress.
