Un trabajo que le da identidad a una comunidad | A job that gives identity to a community

Hay zonas en las que una gran parte de sus habitantes le brindan una identidad según el trabajo que realizan y también generan fuente de empleo para muchos.

La zona donde vivo muchos la conocen como “donde hacen Porrones”, si, la elaboración de esta artesanía, se ha convertido en el trabajo de algunas familias y les ha brindado la posibilidad de tener un sustento en estos tiempos tan difíciles.

Ellos han tenido que reinventarse, ya que al iniciar este trabajo se valían de un horno de barro, el cual calentaban con un lanzallamas a gasoil, pero como adquirir el combustible se convirtió en un problema, pues, ahora tuvieron que dejarlo de lado y adquirieron hornos eléctricos.

There are areas in which a large part of its inhabitants provide an identity according to the work they do and also generate a source of employment for many.

The area where I live many know it as "where they make Porrones", yes, the elaboration of this craft has become the work of some families and has given them the possibility of having a livelihood in these difficult times.

They have had to reinvent themselves, since at the beginning of this work they used a clay oven, which they heated with an oil flame thrower, but since acquiring the fuel became a problem, now they had to leave it aside and acquired electric ovens.

No es nada fácil, todo tiene sus complicaciones, para nadie es un secreto que mi país es un mar de dificultades y una de ellas son los cortes eléctricos. Esto por supuesto afecta el trabajo de los artesanos, cumplir con los compromisos se hace cuesta arriba, cada vez que se enfrentan a los racionamientos eléctricos.

It is not easy, everything has its complications, for no one is a secret that my country is a sea of difficulties and one of them are the power outages. This of course affects the work of artisans, meeting commitments becomes uphill, every time they face power rationing.

Así como le ha dado una identidad artesanal a la zona, también han generado un problema y es que cuando coinciden varios hornos prendidos, corremos el riesgo de que ocurra una falle eléctrica y nos quedemos en el mejor de los casos un día sin el servicio eléctrico, hasta que vengan los trabajadores de la energía eléctrica a arreglar la avería.

Just as it has given an artisanal identity to the area, it has also generated a problem: when several ovens are on, we run the risk of an electrical failure and, in the best of cases, we are left without electrical service for a day, until the electrical workers come to fix the breakdown.

Esto sucede por la falta de transformadores eléctricos nuevos y por las conexiones que muchos de los habitantes realizan sin control, sin estar autorizadas por el organismo que se encarga de hacer este trabajo, lo que conlleva a conexiones riesgosas y que recargan un transformador generando el cortocircuito y quedarnos por ende sin el servicio.

This happens because of the lack of new electrical transformers and because of the connections that many of the inhabitants make without control, without being authorized by the agency in charge of doing this work, which leads to risky connections that overload a transformer, generating a short circuit and thus leaving us without service.

A pesar de los inconvenientes que tenemos a causa de este trabajo artesanal, prevalece el aporte a sus habitantes, como lo es un trabajo que les garantice un salario para llevar el sustento a sus hogares y por supuesto una identidad para la comunidad.

In spite of the inconveniences that we have because of this artisanal work, the contribution to its inhabitants prevails, as it is a job that guarantees them a salary to support their homes and of course an identity for the community.
