Confidence looks gorgeous on everyone, even in the nude. 💫

While getting ready for shower, I was delaying things because of some work. I was half naked and only had towel wrapped along my waist. While I was not bothering about it, my Mom does not liked it. Seeing me half naked, she started scolding and asked me either to wear something or get the job done. This is not uncommon as many Indian traditional mom does not like seeing their kids naked. She does not want me to to be standing naked in public places. While my mom was being cautious of the evil eyes, I started wondering about the life before the clothes were put in use. How it feels to be naked and roaming in open??

The exact date of the invention of clothing is unknown, but it likely happened between 100,000 and 500,000 years ago. Neanderthals, who lived in Eurasia from 400,000 to 40,000 years ago, are thought to be the first humans to wear clothes. The primary purpose of clothing was to protect humans from the cold, heat, rain, and other weather conditions. Over time, clothing came to have other purposes, such as indicating a person's social class, gender, or wealth.

How it feels to be naked can vary from person to person. Many people say it can be a powerful experience to feel the sun on our skin or the wind on our flesh. Even i have noticed that running or working out without cloth givese much satisfaction. On the other hand, there are a differrnt mindset of people who are in opinion that feeling comfortable with our appearance can lead to higher self-esteem and overall life satisfaction. Some say that the goal of feeling good while naked can be complicated by cultural beauty standards, which few people meet. However, therapists, body image activists, and nudists say that there are reasons to pursue a more joyful or neutral relationship with our body.

If I remember correctly, in 2016-17, naked yoga becomes an online rage. All credits goes to a social media influencer, who posted aesthetic pictures in which she is seen performing yoga naked. (I am avoiding the name of that Influencer, to avoid a mad rush to her account). She explained that

"Doing nude yoga gives me a feeling of freedom"

Rightly so what I experince when I does my workouts. I feel completelly free to workout with open mind. At times when there were so many athleisure and gym-wesr available in market this sounds quite absurd. But when we do our workouts in private spaces working out naked multiple benefits.

    • Without cloth, out naked body helps to regulate the temperature. It take little more time to warm.up and also to cool down.

    • We able to acknowledge and access the correct body movement and sensation.

    • If we embrace our body as it is, it can boost self-esteem and body positivity, and help us feel more confident in our skin.

    • Experiencing the sense of freedom can lead to mindfulness. It may avoid any distraction and to focus on our workout.

I am sure working out naked in public spaces is not feasible. But before trying out this themselves, make sure to tryout in own private spaces. It helps to keep the privacy and protect from envy eyes.

    Peace!!
