Crypto is seen as different things to different people based on what they do, how they need it and the research they have done to understand crypto better. To a youth like me, crypto is a great tool used to achieve a lot of things, it can be used to achieve and create wealth, it helps easy payment. Coming from a time where I have seen payment made difficult, I really appreciate and value crypto. Imagine wanting to make payment or receive payment but you have to pay certain percentage amount for charges and also waiting for a certain days to get it processed. Now imagine being presented with an opportunity where you can send any amount for as low as $0.1 or for free at a very fast pace. Imagine sending $1 Million for $0.1 gas fee and getting it in 10 seconds. After seeing this, of course I had to fall in love with crypto.

That’s me, but my aunties hate crypto so much, they have warned me against crypto and told me to leave crypto even though I have told them that I have been in the crypto space for over 4 years and I have achieved a lot from it. But let’s look at it from their own point of view, they didn’t grow up in a technological advanced era, they grew up in an era where you have to work extremely hard. You have to go to school, get a degree, work your way to the top before you can afford to buy that exotic car or house. Fortunately for today youths, they can achieve al these with crypto without having to spend all that time. Today we are seeing lots of youths in their 20s achieving what a lot of 50 year olds couldn’t. This is something the millennials and my aunties cant comprehend because it doesn’t look real to them. I remember when my ex colleague told me how annoying it is to see youths make money so easily with their mobile phone.
Lets look at the governments point of view, especially the corrupt one, with crypto, the government cant control your money because its decentralised and you can store it in your cold wallet. The government cant loot or embezzle money any more without trace, the blockchain shows all the history and who is stealing, why will the government approve it? These are different ways people look fit, some look at it as an opportunity while some see it as a threat.
