The possession of knowledge does not kill the sense of wonder and mystery. There is always more mystery.

Hey everyone. I hope you all are well. I am here to share some info and thoughts about fasting in Ramadan. This is a religious practice that we Muslims do. In fasting, we do not eat or drink anything for nearly 13-14 hours. It varies in countries.
It is a spiritual purification of believers. It is not about eating or drinking only. We are prohibited from engaging in all sorts of negative things. It includes smoking and lying and whatnot.
It teaches us humility, compassion and unity. When we do not eat or drink for an entire day, we become more compassionate to those people who cannot eat like us.
When we take a sip of water, then only we know that water is an immense blessing.
Culturally, we sit together to break our fast. We eat different foods. It is during the evening prayer that we break our fast. Here we keep our fast since dawn and then break it in the evening.
It is scientifically proven that fasting is beneficial for our body as well.
Thank you everyone for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Do follow my account for more such content. Have a nice day ahead. Take care.
