This community has grown so much, and there are many drinks that are of course all over the world that can be found here. This time I would like to bring an unusual recipe for you. Of course, a simple drink recipe with ingredients that are always available at your home. This time the drink is made from pumpkin, yeah this is my first drink from pumpkin and I think it will have a unique flavor.
Squeezed Orange Pumpkin Juice
Usually pumpkin is prepared for dishes, cakes or even I processed it into a sponge cake which is very delicious. This time I will share a different pumpkin recipe which is squeezed orange pumpkin juice. As the title implies, this pumpkin is a juice drink that I combine with oranges. I mix the two of course by giving honey as a sweetener. The taste will definitely be very unique and certainly give you an extraordinary experience. Here's the recipe and the steps in preparation!
Ingredients Needed
- 50 grams of pumpkin
- 3 squeezed oranges
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 500 ml mineral water
Making Procedure
Step 1
I first prepare the pumpkin, clean it and cut it into squares or according to taste.
Step 2
Then I steamed until cooked until soft and easy when crushed.
Step 3
While waiting for the pumpkin to steam, I prepare the orange, split it into two parts and then squeeze the orange juice with a manual tool.
Step 4
Strain the orange juice, then put it in a blender, then add honey to the blender.
Step 5
After the pumpkin is cooked and slightly cool, add it to the blender.
Step 6
Then add enough water I added 500 ml of water then puree.
Serving
Serve the juice in your glass, well here for this recipe I get 2 glasses of squeezed orange pumpkin juice, serve cold by adding ice cubes or you store briefly in the refrigerator. Enjoy the simple sensation of pumpkin freshness with amazing flavor.
The taste is very authentic, and definitely different from other juice flavors, the combination of pumpkin and orange makes it sweet and very fresh. The aroma of the steamed pumpkin is very flavorful and most importantly the texture is so creamy.
At first glance, the color and texture is very similar to mango smoothies but no, this is from pumpkin. Who would have thought that pumpkin has such an amazing flavor when combined with orange. I highly recommend this drink for summer. Try it and you'll love it!
