TOPIC REVIEW: DEALING WITH DEPRESSED TEENS (PART 1)

in voilk •  last month

There's this saying that you don't learn how to use your left hand in an old age and another one that says that an old woman doesn't forget the dance step she knew how to dance in her youthful age what this saying means is that for whatever thing a child becomes as an adult is apparently what he learnt from his childhood and as parents if we don't want to grief over our teenage children we should start training them to what we want them to be from a little age and that moral the hold will not depart from them that is what the bible says in Proverb 22:6 train up a child the way he should be so that when he or she grows up they will not depart from it

It is the sole divine responsibility of parents to give a child the proper training that will guide them in their way of life showing them the path of godliness and light you see when we neglect the child from little age they grow up to become wayward and irresponsible they live their life in a way that please them and not God and in return becomes a burden to their parents that is why early upbringing of a child is very important and vital if we want them to bring us joy in the future A child train from childhood will grow up with the knowledge of what to meet later in life while the untrained child brings heartaches

Proverbs 10:1 says that a wise child make the father proud and happy while the foolish one brings sorrow to his mother we also see that in Proverb 17:25 when a child is not given a proper training when he is still growing up he will become a torn in the flesh of his or her parents and such parents has also failed in their responsibility some parent over pamper their children thinking that that's the way to love them they don't correct them when the make a mistake or even reproof them they keep saying his a child his a child he will change when he grows up but truth is when we don't teach that child to change now he is still a child will never change as an adult Foolishness lies in a child now the parents who is assumed to be wiser than the child should be able to show them the right way to live their life

The best way to train a child is by showing them the way of the Lord a child who has his foundation on the solid word of God will never be a disappointment to their parents when the follow the path of the Lord they will live a life that will bring glory to the kingdom of God and a blessing to their parents so the best way to make a fruitful useful teenager and adult is by giving them the right training as children
