[ Only old stone ] [ #monomad challenge ]

Hello everyone, today I present to you a series of photos for my participation in the #monomad challenge! For this 4 image will illustrate my position with two stone door tops of a small café terrace and an electrical aberation on a building classified as the Batiment de France.

What could be better than enjoying a cup of coffee or sipping a good beer on the terrace of a hidden bistro nestled in a pedestrian street, away from the urban traffic's hustle and bustle? I confess to having spent some time scrutinizing all the details of this building, constructed with imposing ashlar stones and oak beams. My mind wandered into the past, contemplating how many liters of wine might have been consumed here. I also envisioned the multitude of individuals who have shared moments in this establishment – from transient visitors to residents and regulars at the bar, all enthusiasts of both refined and less sophisticated beverages as their daily elixir.

What reflection to provoke facing this electrical clutter on a building so old that even my great-great-great-great-grandfather did not witness its construction, thereby spoiling the grandeur of the cut stones and the beauty of the beams that make up the structure of the house? Furthermore, the potential danger it may pose renders the situation unrealistic, considering that the house is partly made of wood, a material that readily catches fire.

I have always wondered about the construction cost of a building like this, with its massive stone vaults and sculptures depicting human faces.

In the overload and excess of details, the doors of urban houses sometimes become enigmatic. I'm not entirely sure of the builders' intention for this type of structure, but one thing is certain, it was designed to endure over time.

I have concluded this message, hoping not to have taken too much of your time to present it to you. Wishing you an excellent weekend until the next one.
