So friends, today was something truly different - we got our annual "4 hours" of Winter! I was hoping that this year we would get through it without freezing, but it did happen. Still, it has been "much" warmer than normal - and by Friday will be again!
And I do know for most of America, this is "nothing" - I grew up (mostly) in New Jersey/ New York. They consider this a joke!
And so, early this morning when I took the trash out the porch had iced over,
Here is the railing,
And a Mug I had left on the porch, all iced over!
This is walking past the truck, ice on the windows!
And a little sleet that collected at the neighbors - we had a short chit-chat, about the weather!
Also she has the Lilies I have photographed in the past, here are the plants today - covered in sleet,

And on top of the Cold, the worst part we had 35 mph / 56.33 kph winds! Although my place is well sealed, basically for A.C. in summer - it was pretty drafty!
Later in the day we did get up to around 40°F/4.44°C, so the day ended up looking like this - a view drom the driveway out,
And from there we should bounce right up to 70°F / 21.1°C +/- by Friday - Saturday!
