Greetings fellow Wednesday walkers! Today I come to tell you how I was able to turn a mandatory trip into a relaxing and enjoyable walk. Join me to know the route San Cristobal -San Antonio del Tachira on a hectic Wednesday.
Last week I traveled to the capital of Venezuela with my whole family. We went overland and the truth was exhausting. The reason for our trip was for my husband's immigration procedures at the Cuban consulate. We spent a week in Caracas and when we returned, we arrived at 4 am on Monday in San Cristobal. When we got off the bus we took the wrong suitcase with us.

The owner of the suitcase I had told me that my suitcase was in San Antonio del Tachira, so this Wednesday I set out on my journey to exchange luggage and retrieve our belongings.
The Uber charged me $48 to go from San Cristobal to San Antonio, exchange the luggage and return. It was a bit pricey to be honest, but I was to retrieve our things, the ride was comfortable in an air conditioned car.

The driver, realizing I was taking pictures for my blog, asked me what they were for? I told him that I am a content creator for Hive.blog and then stopped at every monument in the towns we drove through so he could take my pictures.
One thing made up for the other. I think from this mandatory trip I was able to enjoy the scenery that I hadn't been able to visit for many years. I am also happy to recover our clothes especially and also because the trip was round and I was able to be home quickly on the way back.

We went through Capacho. One of my favorite municipalities. I love the architecture of this mountain town, its narrow streets and the park that I enjoyed so much as a child. We also passed by the popular market that I hope one day to visit and take better pictures of the interior.
The handicraft sales in Capacho are one of the things I most enjoy seeing. The clay vases and pots are my favorite. The sales of pineapple, pineapple with salt and guarapo. Sales of typical sweets and cakes. The Plaza de los Fundadores and the beautiful murals that paint the city.
The popular church with its old wooden door. The huge trees that provide shade to passers-by. The truth is that Capacho is one of my favorite places in the state of Táchira.
After a few hours on the road, we arrived in San Antonio. The exchange of luggage was very fast so we soon returned home.
I think that when doing group activities, even traveling, there should be a leader who exerts pressure on the others, it would be positive for the group when taking care of details such as luggage, documents, money, food and any logistics that may arise.

En un viaje obligatorio puedes llegar a disfrutar

¡Saludos amigos caminantes de los miércoles! Hoy vengo a contarles como he podido hacer de un viaje obligatorio un paseo relajante y de disfrute. Acompáñenme a conocer la ruta San Cristóbal -San Antonio del Táchira en un miércoles agitado.
La semana pasada viajé a la capital de Venezuela con toda mi familia. Nos fuimos por tierra y la verdad fue agotador. El motivo de nuestro viaje fue por trámite migratorios de mi esposo en el consulado de Cuba. Pasamos una semana en Caracas y al regresar, llegamos a las 4 am del lunes a San Cristóbal. En el momento que bajamos del autobús nos llevamos una maleta equivocada.
La dueña de la maleta que yo tenía me dijo que mi maleta estaba en San Antonio del Táchira, así que este miércoles emprendí mi viaje para intercambiar el equipaje y recuperar nuestras pertenencias.
El Uber me cobró 48$ por ir desde San Cristóbal a San Antonio, cambiar el equipaje y regresar. Fue un poco costoso para ser honesta, pero debía recuperar nuestras cosas, el viaje fue cómodo en un automóvil con aire acondicionado.
El conductor al darse cuenta de que estaba tomando fotografías para mi blog, me preguntó para qué eran? Le dije que soy creadora de contenido para Hive.blog y luego paraba en cada monumento de los pueblos que recorrimos para que pudiera tomar mis fotografías.
Una cosa compensa la otra. Creo que de este viaje obligatorio pude disfrutar los paisajes que tenía muchos años que no podía visitar. También me siento feliz por recuperar nuestra ropa especialmente y también porque el viaje fue redondo y pude estar rápidamente en casa de regreso.
Pasamos por Capacho. Uno de mis municipios favoritos. Me encanta la arquitectura de este pueblo montañoso, sus calles angostas y el parque del que disfruté tanto cuando niña. También pasamos por el mercado popular que espero un día ir a recorrer y tomar mejores fotografías del interior.
Las ventas artesanales en Capacho son una de las cosas que más disfruto ver. Los jarrones y macetas de barro son mis favoritos. Las ventas de piña, piña con sal y guarapo. Ventas de dulces típicos y pasteles. La plaza de los fundadores y los bonitos murales que pintan la ciudad.
La popular iglesia con su puerta de madera antigua. Los árboles enormes que refrescan y dan sombra a los transeúntes.la verdad es que Capacho es uno de mis lugares preferidos del estado Táchira.
Luego de unas horas de camino, llegamos a San Antonio. El intercambio de equipaje fue muy rápido así que pronto regresamos a casa.

Pienso que cuando se hacen actividades en grupo, incluso viajar, debe haber un líder que ejerza presión sobre los demás, sería positivo para el grupo al momento de cuidar los detalles como el equipaje, los documentos, el dinero, la comida y cualquier logística que pueda surgir.
