Blockchain y Gobernabilidad. Dónde todo converge.
Recibí una invitación para participar en un taller donde se abordaría el tema de la gobernanza en blockchain cómo tema principal.
Este taller fue organizado por la Fundación Iberoamericana de Tecnología FUNINTEC de la cual formo parte como equipo profesional y entre las tareas que he desempeñado he sido profesora de Bitcoin y de Trading básico en los diplomados en Tecnologías Descentralizadas y de Finanzas descentralizadas respectivamente.
También fui parte de uno de los 4 equipos que presentó proyectos en el Catalist que es el mecanismo democrático para elegir proyectos a ser financiados por el tesoro de Cardano, una blockchain que al igual que Hive es de última generación. En la primera ronda de proyectos no resultamos escogidos, pero en la segunda ronda uno de los proyectos presentados por FUNINTEC obtuvo la votación necesaria para ser financiado y se está ejecutando en este momento, ya les contaré próximamente de que se trata y cómo nos va.
I received an invitation to participate in a workshop where the main topic would be governance in blockchain.
This workshop was organized by the Ibero-American Technology Foundation FUNINTEC, of which I am a part as a professional team member. Among the tasks I have performed, I have been a Bitcoin and Basic Trading instructor in the Diplomas in Decentralized Technologies and Decentralized Finance, respectively.
I was also part of one of the four teams that presented projects in the Catalist, which is the democratic mechanism for selecting projects to be funded by the Cardano treasury, a blockchain that, like Hive, is next-generation. In the first round of projects, we were not selected, but in the second round, one of the projects presented by FUNINTEC received the necessary votes to be funded and is currently being executed. I will tell you soon what it is about and how we are doing.

Hace poco tiempo, resultó de las consultas hechas a la comunidad de Cardano la necesidad de modificar el sistema de gobernanza, de manera que se encontrara un equilibrio entre las organizaciones fundacionales que respaldan el proyecto y que históricamente habían tenido mayor peso y las comunidades descentralizadas que hacen vida de diferentes maneras, de manera que ahora la proporcionalidad es más equitativa.
Esta implementación va a quedar totalmente activada en un fork que está próximo a cumplirse y a partir de ese momento Intersec que es como se llama el mecanismo que pasará a ser la gobernanza de la Blockchain Cardano.
Recently, consultations with the Cardano community revealed the need to modify the governance system to find a balance between the foundational organizations that support the project and have historically had more weight, and the decentralized communities that are active in various ways, so that now the proportionality is more equitable.
This implementation will be fully activated in a fork that is about to take place, and from that moment on, Intersec, which is the name of the mechanism that will become the governance of the Cardano Blockchain.

Desde Funintec, siendo uno de los proyectos comunitarios que respaldaron la propuesta, sienten un compromiso con su correcta implementación y se están encargando de comunicar a los miembros de su comunidad y personas interesadas en general sobre cómo va a funcionar y el impacto que tendrá esta forma de gobernanza que toma elementos de la democracia líquida en su metodología.
Este taller fue realizado en los espacios de Nest Coworking que está ubicado en el Centro Financiero Madrid de las Mercedes en la ciudad de Caracas y se tiene planificado realizar próximamente en Lecherías en el estado Anzoátegui, así que muy atentos los hivers del oriente de Venezuela, ya que he visto a muchos activos, ocupándose de aprender sobre todo el ecosistema cripto y aplicando una posible diversificación de sus portafolios.
From Funintec, being one of the community projects that supported the proposal, they feel a commitment to its proper implementation and are in charge of communicating to their community members and interested people in general about how it will work and the impact this form of governance, which takes elements of liquid democracy in its methodology, will have.
This workshop was held in the spaces of Nest Coworking, located in the Centro Financiero Madrid de las Mercedes in the city of Caracas, and it is planned to be held soon in Lecherías in the state of Anzoátegui. Una recomendación importante que tengo años escuchando de expertos inversionistas, tanto del ámbito tradicional como de las criptomonedas nos indica que es importante diversificar nuestro portafolio de inversiones, es una recomendación sana, que más allá de que amemos a nuestra blockchain Hive y estemos comprometidos a un alto nivel de construcción y crecimiento de la misma, podamos ser capaces de organizar nuestros niveles de inversión, ya sean muy bajos, bajos, medios, altos o muy altos para tener un portafolio diversificado, no importa la cantidad en mi opinión, lo importante es la buena práctica.
Más allá de las inversiones, para los que, al igual que yo, estamos viviendo en Web3, aprender siempre será importante, conocer otros proyectos, otros protocolos, observar diferentes puntos de vista, tomar lo mejor de otras experiencias y, uno nunca sabe, tal vez podamos proponer avances importantes en nuestro ecosistema de Hive de requerirse por algún motivo.
Igualmente, cuando participamos en diferentes experiencias, podemos estar en capacidad de hacer aportes que pueden ser considerados cuando hemos tenido experiencias previas. Lo importante es enriquecernos de aprendizajes y dejar una huella positiva.
Trabajar en integraciones es un punto de atención que puede sumar a una mayor usabilidad, adopción y fortalecimiento general de las criptomonedas.
An important recommendation that I have been hearing from expert investors for years, both in the traditional field and in cryptocurrencies, is that it is important to diversify our investment portfolio. It is a sound recommendation, which, beyond our love for our Hive blockchain and our high level of commitment to its construction and growth, allows us to organize our investment levels, whether they are very low, low, medium, high, or very high, to have a diversified portfolio. In my opinion, the amount does not matter; what is important is the good practice.
Beyond investments, for those of us who, like me, are living in Web3, learning will always be important. Knowing other projects, other protocols, observing different points of view, taking the best from other experiences, and, you never know, we might be able to propose significant advances in our Hive ecosystem if needed for some reason.
Similarly, when we participate in different experiences, we can be in a position to make contributions that can be considered when we have had previous experiences. The important thing is to enrich ourselves with learning and leave a positive mark.
Working on integrations is a point of attention that can add to greater usability, adoption, and general strengthening of cryptocurrencies.
