When I was little, you taught me to wait,
you told me: "If you get lost, don't be afraid, just stay in your place".
In the stillness of my being, in the calm of home,
I waited patiently, without hesitation.
And the moment came when I found myself lost,
but I remembered your wise words like a repeated echo.
So I stood there, silent and contained,
knowing that in doing so, I would be found.
Mother dearest, in that instant I understood,
that in your every counsel there is love and guidance in me.
I waited trustingly, in the faith you offered me,
and in that very place, our union persists.
Now I want to tell you, mother of my soul and my being,
that here I am, beside you, without perishing.
In the stillness of this place that I learned to know,
Waiting always, for when I see you again.
