En este post cuento con más detalles todo, pero para resumir básicamente desde inicios de agosto comencé con cansancio mental por lo cual decidí tomarme un descanso de una semana, luego de esa semana de descanso me agarró un fuerte virus y ademas me complique con la cervical.

In this post I tell in more detail everything, but to summarize basically since the beginning of August I started with mental fatigue so I decided to take a break for a week, after that week of rest I got a strong virus and also I got complicated with the cervical.

Fuí diagnosticada con rectificación cervical, o sea, mi cervical no tiene la curva (lordosis cervical) que debería tener esta completamente recta y es por eso que constantemente sufro de dolores en el cuello, hombros, cabeza y ademas adormecimiento de brazos y manos.

I was diagnosed with cervical rectification, that is, my cervical spine does not have the curve (cervical lordosis) that it should have, it is completely straight and that is why I constantly suffer from pain in my neck, shoulders, head and numbness in my arms and hands.

Por lo tanto dibujar y hacer manualidades es algo que también se me dificulta bastante y es por eso que he estado bastante ausente, la buena noticia es que comencé a hacer fisioterapia y aunque obviamente me falta mucho para recuperarme, me siento mucho mejor.

Therefore, drawing and making crafts is something that is also very difficult for me and that is why I have been quite absent, the good news is that I started to do physiotherapy and although obviously I still have a long way to go to recover, I feel much better.

Por eso decidí retomar mis post de dibujo con esta sencilla mariposa 🦋 acompáñame a ver como fue el proceso de su elaboración.

That's why I decided to resume my drawing posts with this simple butterfly 🦋 join me to see how was the process of its elaboration.

El primer paso como siempre es el boceto, primero hice una cruz para guiarme, luego el cuerpo de la mariposa y por último las alas.

The first step as always is the sketch, first I made a cross to guide me, then the body of the butterfly and finally the wings.

Creo que no me quedo identica a la imagen de referencia pero no me preocupe tanto por eso, ya que la idea era retomar el dibujo sin tanto estrés así que me conforme con que quedara bien y no identica.

I don't think it was identical to the reference image but I didn't worry so much about that, since the idea was to retake the drawing without so much stress, so I was satisfied with it being good and not identical.

Recuerdo que luego de mi diagnóstico me recomendaron que no dibujara tantas horas seguidas y que cuidara mi postura, así que para hacer ese boceto puse 20min en el temporizador ⏳ y estuve muy pendiente de tener una buena postura, pero créanme no es fácil cambiar los malos hábitos de pustura de la noche a la mañana.

I remember that after my diagnosis I was recommended not to draw so many hours in a row and to take care of my posture, so to make that sketch I put 20min on the timer ⏳ and I was very aware of having a good posture, but believe me it is not easy to change bad habits of pusture overnight.

Luego comencé a hacer el diseño de las alas, me imagino que eso tiene un nombre pero no sé cuál es 😆 así que yo le dire así el diseñó de las alas.

Then I started to do the design of the wings, I guess that has a name but I don't know what it is 😆 so I'll just call it the wing design.

Como pueden ver esa parte tampoco me quedo idéntica a la imagen, pero relax total porque me gusto como quedo, a pesar de que la simetría no es lo mío 🤣 la verdad es que me costo bastante que me quedará igual el diseño de ambas alas.

As you can see that part was not identical to the image either, but total relaxation because I liked how it turned out, although symmetry is not my thing 🤣 the truth is that it cost me a lot to get the same design for both wings.

Luego hice el LineArt con mi bolígrafo 🖋️ roler mi nuevo mejor amigo para este tipo de dibujos 😍 y también rellené la parte negra de la mariposa con el mismo bolígrafo.

Then I did the LineArt with my pen 🖋️ roler my new best friend for this kind of drawings 😍 and I also filled the black part of the butterfly with the same pen.

En un principio tenía planeado hacerlo con un lapiz de color negro, pero decidí hacerlo con el bolígrafo roler para tener un acabado diferente ya que antes solo lo use para hacer el LineArt, pero no para este tipo de trabajo y la verdad me gusto mucho como quedo.

At first I had planned to do it with a black pencil, but I decided to do it with the Roler pen to have a different finish since before I only used it to make the LineArt, but not for this type of work and I really liked how it turned out.

Por último llego la parte de darle color a la mariposa, en un principio tenía planeado hacerlo con lapices de colores, pero recordé que hace meses compré unos bolígrafos de gel color neón que estaban en su estuche esperando a ser usados.

Finally came the part of giving color to the butterfly, at first I had planned to do it with colored pencils, but I remembered that months ago I bought some neon colored gel pens that were in their case waiting to be used.

Así que decidí experimentar ya que jamas había hecho un dibujo con bolígrafos de gel y aunque tenía miedo de arruinar todo me arriesgué y no me arrepiento porque ame el resultado.

So I decided to experiment since I had never made a drawing with gel pens and although I was afraid of ruining everything I took the risk and I don't regret it because I loved the result.

Los tenía reservados para dibujar mandalas, pero siento que esta mariposa es similar a una mandala así que aproveche la oportunidad, al principio fue un poco difícil agarrar el ritmo para colorear con ellos pero poco a poco fuí aprendiendo, a veces la tinta se trababa un poco y tenía que sacudir el bolígrafo 😆 y también tuve que esperar a que secará y pasar otra capa para que quedará más intenso el color.

I had them reserved to draw mandalas, but I feel that this butterfly is similar to a mandala so I took the opportunity, at first it was a little difficult to get the rhythm to color with them but little by little I was learning, sometimes the ink was a little stuck and I had to shake the pen 😆 and I also had to wait for it to dry and pass another layer to make the color more intense.

La verdad me gusto mucho como quedó así que tal vez sigue compartiendo con ustedes mas dibujos con bolígrafos de gel.

I really liked how it turned out so maybe I will continue to share with you more drawings with gel pens.

Y bueno este fue el resultado, la verdad me gusto mucho retomar el dibujo, no lo hice en un dia en realidad me llevo como 5 días terminarlo, ya que presente molestias con la cervical como dolor leve de cabeza y cuello, pero gracias a no forzarme dibuando muchas horas y los ejercicios de cervical logre hacerlo sin tener mayores complicaciones.

And well this was the result, the truth is that I really liked to resume the drawing, I did not do it in one day actually it took me about 5 days to finish it, as I had discomfort with the cervical as mild pain in the head and neck, but thanks to not forcing myself drawing many hours and cervical exercises I managed to do it without major complications.

En realidad este dibujo fue más que todo una prueba de que sí puedo dibujar aun teniendo un problema de cervical, si lo hago con prudencia y haciendo pausas para descansar y hacer estiramientos.

Actually, this drawing was mostly a proof that I can draw even if I have a cervical problem, if I do it with caution and pausing to rest and stretch.
