a hard pill to swallow is that you will meet people who won't love you in a way you need to be loved in order to stay with them. the connection will feel more like a burden even if there's love from both sides because love alone is not enough. and it's painful to choose yourself knowing that everything could be different, but some people just aren't meant for you, no matter how badly you want to keep them in your life
