Good day everyone splinterlands community, zactian here. Today I'll blog about another weekly challenge, Battle Mage Secrets, and share my strategy.

    What Account Use

I'll play my Scholar Account (IGN: BLTZR-WIZARD-724). I will reveal my primary technique in this rule-set max-level cards in a modern format.

    Challenge Rule set

HEALED OUT is the challenge, in which all healing abilities are removed or disabled in this battle.

Comment below with your opinions on the potential lineups at this level. Is it effective for this battle ruleset? Let's see and match up with the Healed Out rule set.

    Healed Out

    All healing abilities are removed.

    INTO THE BATTLE:

    Rule Set

    image.png

    HEALED OUT

    • All healing abilities are removed.

    Equal Opportunity

    • All units will gain Opportunity abilities.

    Blood and Sunder

    • All units will gain the Corrosive Ward.

Recommended summoner to use HEALED OUT for this match:

I would recommend using Obsidian summoner for Prioritizing in magic damage because there is a rule set Equal Opportunity and combo with Djinn Biljka and Doctor Blight where both of these cards have Camouflage, the perfect counter or avoiding attacks for Equal Opportunity. I didn't pick Immotralis because it's a bit expensive for a low mana cap rule set, and you can also choose Quix the Devious with earth element for prioritizing in speed where there's a chance of miss incoming attacks especially if you combo it with Martyrs ability.

Note: I only have limited cards but they are useful in some rule sets and I will try my best to win with existing cards. So if you want a high chance of winning, I advise you to rent or buy useful or stronger cards for most rule sets.

    Obsidian

    • Increase magic damage by 1

      • This is good for a low mana cap rule set, depending on strategy lineup or opponent history battle. I prioritize using magic damage in this battle because I think the opponent will choose speed or damage line-up. Hopefully opponent will use Martys with a void dragon line up because it's pretty overpowered in speed and additional support all stats if use Martyrs.

    Link of the battle: RUMBLE

    My Lineup

    image.png

    First position - Hill Giant
    • Acts as a tank in the first position because of massive health with Stun ability.
    Second position - Chaos Agent
    • It acts as an extra tank for equal opportunity rule set and after the fungus fiend is executed, this will act as a tank. Useful abilities that can have a chance of miss incoming attacks.
    Third position - Venari Scout
    • I was planning to use Vampire Bat rather than Vennari Scout because of Equal opportunity and has high speed already, At that time I didn't rent Vampire Bat so I stuck with Venari Scout with the useful ability of Dodge which has a chance miss incoming range and melee attacks from the opponent.
    Fourth position - Djinn Biljka
    • My main magic of my team, though there's a risk of using this because it didn't hit the opponent Chaos Agent this will easily backfire and be executed easily. Hoping my other units will attack and execute first the opponent Chaos Agent.
    Fifth position - Doctor Blight
    • My support/main damage of the team because it has a chance of applying poison with useful abilities Camouflage and Scavenger that can avoid from sneaky attacks, especially the Opportunity rule set.
    Last position - Fungus Fiend
    • Extra support and bait of team with difference in health, this unit will targeted first because of equal opportunity.

    Analyzing Battle

The opponent did use prioritizing in speed with Chaos Dragon, uses Quix the Devious summoner and it seems it didn't use martyr strategy which is great for me. I think I can easily defeat other opponent units except Chaos Dragon and Chaos Agent. I hope my Hill Giant will hit and defeat the opponent Chaos Agent.

    Effective or not?

Luckily my Hill Giant was able to hit and execute easily the opponent Chaos Agent, and my Djinn Biljka and Doctor Blight are doing well on executing the rest of the opponent's low health. I overpowered the opponent in Damage and the opponent overpowered me in speed, the only left opponent was Chaos Dragon where most of my attacks were miss, but then again I had Hill Giant which has high health and my Doctor Blight has Scavenger which can increase health by after each unit is executed. With all luck, I have defeated the Chaos Dragon🤗. If the opponent uses Marty's strategy like using Vruz or Venari Marksrat with Chaos Dragon then there's a high chance that I will likely lose in this battle.

My favorite line-up in the element is water where most units found are high in speed, If you want to use Water Line-up, please read over some of my blogs, hoping they could be useful. 😊
