Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway Cutback Apple Stock

Have you heard of Warren Buffett's recent stocks decisions. I shared a blog on that recently and I'm still doing a bit of research into it.

I see the man as being very brilliant when it comes to money but I still don't get why he would remove that much Apple stock?

He has dropped it by about 55% and this is a company that’s practically been printing money for him. This is just something awkward even if you're owner of Berkshire Hathaway.

Apple is not just another tech stock, they can reduce innovation drastically and still get sales that's how good the company is and Apple’s stock price has consistently outperformed other competitors. Anyone who held on to their shares through the second quarter of 2024 is sitting on some good gains. So that's why I'm still thinking about why such a smart investor like him will leave $23 billion on the table. Maybe because he doesn't need it and would rather give it to charity like Bill Gates.

I’ve never been in the position to manage billions or millions but even I can’t ignore that removing such a massive stake is being overly cautious, how bad can it get to remove this much.

I doubt this was a matter of fear of losing money because although the stock market can be very unpredictable, Apple has been a safe bet for years.

The conclusions I can draw are two, it's either Warren Buffett doesn't give a damn or he's skeptical about the future success of Apple because of the complaints users have been giving about lack of innovation and the recent stocks drop.
