The internet was a breakthrough for many content creators across the globe because it really boosted their audience, and many of them were able to push their content out of their states, countries, and even continents for the world to see. In the world today, we have millions of content creators, and I don't get bored as long as I have a stable network to surf the internet and watch different content creators.
Twitter and YouTube are the other platforms I play around with very well, but I barely engage there since Hive happens to be the only platform that gives the audience and engagement I have always wanted since I started creating simple content as a baby writer.
There are many genres of content available out there, and I am kind of addicted to watching content that has to do with food recipes because I love to try new recipes from time to time. I watch motivational and comedy stuff as well, just to smile in the midst of all the challenges happening in the world today.
Despite my love for many content creators, it's sad to see that originality and creativity are slowly vanishing among them. A lot of content creators go about plagiarizing people's work, and they do it with zero creativity, which I find displeasing. I shared this with someone in the field, and he said there is no new content, so it's impossible for them not to reuse other people's content, which is not true because there are newbies in that field who are doing spectacular things, and even if truly there is no new content, what happens to being creative?
Judging from the things I have seen, it's impossible for a content creator to excel when they lack originality and creativity. As a content creator, you must have something that distinguishes you from other content creators; you must have something unique about your content. It's disappointing to see many content creators pay people to act and react falsely to the things they do. Seeing things like that is a turn-off for me, and nothing would make me pause to check whatever the person does again.
I have lots of favorite content creators, and Mr. Beast tops my list because of the influence he has on people globally. The very first time I saw his video, I didn't believe that he was really doing all of that, and when I saw the testimonies of people about him, I was surprised. I would like to focus on content creators from my country because many of them are doing a great job as well.
I believe that content creators are also influencers, and I don't underestimate how much they can influence their audience with the things they do. I deeply appreciate those who don't use their fame to help just themselves; I mean those who have succeeded in influencing lives positively because their act of selflessness is something worth emulating.
Among these guys, my favorite is Mr. Macaroni, and I chose him because of the human rights activist role he played during the End Sars protest against Police brutality.
A lot of content creators and influencers who had names big enough to intervene for the youths who were going through tough times at the hands of the police went into hiding during that time, but this guy stood, and even in the face of humiliation, he didn't stop fighting for justice.
His content is unique, and he came with a brand that won so many hearts. While building himself, he helps a lot of content creators as well, and this always melts my heart.
Making content isn't easy, whether you are doing it for many or just a few people. It requires time, money, and other resources, so whenever I see people putting in efforts, I don't hesitate to support them the best way I can, and I hope you are also doing the same. To hit the like button and even reblog their content wouldn't cost us anything. Shout out to all content creators who are having a good impact on society.
