A new season in Splinterlands has started and this is my second season since I returned to the game. After calculating some earnings in Splinterlands I decided that the best strategy would be to play in the Champion league or at least in the Diamond league since the Battle Pass costs 2000 DEC, so playing in the lower leagues is not worth it because I will not be able to get a return on my investment.
For this season I will rent cards at the maximum level and try to reach the highest league I can. I am currently playing in Wild format because I am alternating between playing manually and using Xbot since dedicating a lot of time to the game is impossible because I have to take care of my children and also take the wife out, in addition to working of course. I also prefer to play in Wild mode because I can use all editions of cards and being limited to only the Chaos Legion and Rebellion editions in Modern mode would be a bit boring in my opinion, but I intend to test the earnings in this format in the future to see if it is really worth it.
Since I'm slowly increasing my assets in the game, I have to rent cards since I don't have any at maximum level at the moment. After renting the cards and also renting the SPS, I'm ready for battles and my first battle of the day will be using a summoner that has probably been forgotten in this game but I remember that I used to use it a lot in my battles in the past, his name is Pyre, an old friend from the Untamed edition that costs 3 mana and will increase the speed of my monsters by +1.
Link to the Battle
After having Summoner Pyre in the battle, all that's left is to choose the monsters I'm going to use and for some reason I decided that monsters with ranged attacks would be a good choice since monsters with the abilities Thorns, Magic Reflect and Void are common in battles so I decided to take a little risk and fill my battlefield with ranged monsters and also test one of my new Soulbound cards.
The monsters I used for this battle are: Lava Launcher, Molten Ash Golem, Fire Elemental, Supply Runner, Countess Sinash and Chaos Adjutant.
I have to admit that Chaos Adjutant wasn't really my choice but rather a quick click because time was running out so it was what I could put in at the time.
In battle, I have a good advantage since my monsters are at maximum level (except for the Chaos Adjutant), so I had greater firepower and also more abilities than my opponent. This battle took place in the Gold League of the Wild format, so it is common for many players not to have cards at maximum level. Usually, only in the Diamond League and the Champion League, where it is common to use cards at maximum level, so I believe that I will not have much difficulty in getting out of the Gold League.
The focus of my strategy was speed and, as you can see, most of my monsters have a large amount of speed, which will increase even more with the buff from Summoner Pyre and also with the buffs from the monsters Supply Runner and Countess Sinash, since both have the ability Swiftness, which increases the speed of allied monsters by +1. In other words, my monsters will start the battle gaining +3 speed with the help of the Summoner and the 2 Monsters I mentioned before.
I don't have much to say about this battle because it was practically one-sided with a bombardment coming from my side and after a few rounds I achieved a crushing victory.
