More than a month ago, when we got the information to the WhatsApp group about the celebration of BitcoinPizzaDay in Buenos Aires, only that the place where this meeting would take place would be in La Plata, which is really far away from where I live, so I didn't even try to find a way to go.
Since the distances are so extreme and everyone is really busy with terrible work schedules (too much work and too little production, but this is the subject of another post) it was difficult for the hivers that are relatively close to us to do something, so we had to improvise if we really wanted to celebrate this day.
I had proposed to go to a place where they buy pizzas by pieces, and thus eat different flavors in the same meal, but the message from my son asking: “Mom, you can come and pick me up, the afternoon teachers are not coming” truncated everything, because when I went to pick him up, he arrived with just enough time to pick up his brother from school.

After that, it was time to enter the second shift at work, but a bad move of the anti-allergic I'm taking, let me sleep more than I should have, and I woke up when dinner was supposed to be ready.
Right below my apartment there is a pizzeria, but on Wednesdays it is not open, so I went downstairs to check if the pizzeria on the corner was open, and when I saw that it was, I went to place my order in person.
They had a promotion of two Muzzarella pizzas for 9,500 pesos (9.5$ approx) and although it was too much for the three of us at home, I still took them for breakfast, as indeed it was.
It was the first time I bought there, and honestly I will change pizzeria, as I liked this one much better. The dough is thin and crispy and although it is more expensive than what I usually buy, the price is justified by the amount of cheese and the speed of service.

So after having resigned myself to not celebrating, I got a double treat: trying a new pizzeria, on promotion and being able to repeat the next day! Late, but my particular celebration of BitcoinPizzaDay, ended up arriving for dinner.
Hace ya más de un mes, cuando nos llega la información al grupo de WhatsApp, sobre la celebración del BitcoinPizzaDay en Buenos Aires, solo que el lugar donde se daría esta reunión sería en La Plata, que me queda realmente muy lejos de donde vivo, así que ni siquiera puse empeño por buscar la manera de ir.
Al ser las distancias tan extremas y estar todos realmente ocupados con unos horarios laborales terribles (se trabaja demasiado y se produce muy poco, pero esto es tema de otro post) era complicado que lograramos hacer algo los hivers que nos encontramos relativamente cerca, así que tocaba improvisar si realmente queríamos celebrar este día.
Yo me había propuesto ir a un local en el que se compran las pizzas por trozos, y así comer diferentes sabores en una misma comida, pero el mensaje de mi hijo pidiendo: "mamá, puedes venir a buscarme, que los profesores de la tarde no vendrán" me truncó todo, ya que al ir por él, llegaba con el tiempo justo para luego retirar a su hermano de la escuela.

Luego de ello, tocaba entrar en el segundo turno en el trabajo, pero una mala jugada de los antialérgicos que estoy tomando, me dejaron dormir más de la cuenta, y pues desperté cuando se suponía que la cena debía estar lista.
Justo debajo de mi departamento hay una pizzería, pero los miércoles no abre, por lo que bajé a verificar si la pizzería de la esquina estaba abierta, y al ver que lo estaba, me fui a hacer mi pedido en persona.
Tenían una promoción de dos pizzas de Muzzarella por 9.500 pesos (9.5$ aprox) y aunque era demasiado para los tres que somos en casa, igual las llevé para que quedaran para el desayuno, como en efecto fue.
Era la primera vez que compraba ahí, y honestamente me cambiaré de pizzería, ya que esta me gustó mucho más. La masa fina y crujiente y aunque es más costosa que la que suelo comprar, se justifica el precio por la cantidad de queso y la rapidez del servicio.

Así que luego de haberme resignado a no celebrar, me tocó por partida doble: probando una nueva pizzería, en promoción y pudiendo repetir al día siguiente! Tarde, pero mi celebración particular del BitcoinPizzaDay, terminó llegando para la cena.
