Hello 👋 to all my coffee loving friends ☕ Today I was out and about with my husband, taking advantage of the fact that he was given a week's vacation and I have tried to do as many errands as possible while he is at home so that he can accompany me without time problems.
And this is because his job in the communications area is very demanding and he must be available for any eventuality 24 hours a day, he leaves for work around 7 AM and may return in the late afternoon or later, depending on the day's work.
This reminds me of a phrase that my father, who was a gandolero until recently, used to say to me, but because of his age he no longer works as a heavy load carrier, he used to tell us every time he went on a trip and we would ask him when he would be back and he would answer “I know when I go out, but I don't know when I'll be back”.
When we work for the government in a basic company for the functioning of the country, such as the electric company, the work dynamics is very hectic and even more so when your function is the communications area and you have to make known everything that is being done in terms of repairs, breakdowns, programmed outages.
Among others.
So going on vacation for my husband is a dilemma because he has no one to leave at this time, so his boss planned very well to split his vacation weekly, giving him a week off and then another week, to complete the four weeks, but in seasons where there is not so much movement of work or can be supported with other units, especially because he is also responsible for providing support by moving staff from his work unit.
So taking advantage of this week and that we have a newly purchased scooter, we took the opportunity to go for a nice coffee.
And there is a bakery cafeteria that we love and although it is far from home, it is always nice to go there, because the coffee is just the way I like it and the service is wonderful.
So we took the opportunity to make our first stop there, and chat with the owner of the coffee shop, who always has a story to entertain us for a while.
When I talk about the café con leche, I am referring to the skin tones of my husband and myself, a mixture of milk and light coffee ha, ha, ha, ha. One of my sons came out with a skin color in between the two of us and the younger one came out with my skin color and it is something that has always been said to me when we take pictures together, that we are coffee with milk hahaha. It is always good to have a nice coffee, warm and enjoying nice people.
