Hola hermosa comunidad de Diy. Que bueno haberlos encontrado en mi búsqueda de nuevos espacios y oportunidades para publicar y compartir mis experiencias!
Estuve revisando algunos post y además de ver el trabajo de nuevos creadores, también fui estudiando las posibilidades de exponer mis habilidades para que otros las conozcan.
Quiero en mi primera publicación para ustedes ofrecerles algo de mi pasión por la artesanía popular y artística.
Primero les cuento que me gusta mucho la utilización de recursos reciclables, como el cartón, vidrio, plásticos,y recursos naturales como la madera,semillas, piedras y cuánto recursos me sugiera la posibilidad de crear.
Creo mis propios proyectos o prototipos de cosas y objetos para realizar básicamente ejemplares únicos.
Ahora les presento el proceso para realizar una macetica con CACTUS. Claro que es una imitación artesanal de ese elemento de la naturaleza el cual he tratado de reproducir y hacer el acercamiento más posible a la naturaleza.
La presencia del cactus en múltiples variedades y especies ha ido en aumento en los últimos tiempos en los hogares, por lo menos aquí en Cuba. Con esta planta se decoran diferentes espacios interiores y exteriores y se les atribuyen diferentes propiedades tanto curativas como místicas y esotericas dónde funcionan como amuletos caseros y protección contra las energías negativas o alejar algunos espíritus perturbadores.
Lo cierto es que el mercado de estas plantas a crecido y se cotizan, según la especie a valores también ascendentes.
Para elaborar está artesanía he utilizado diferentes materiales casi todos de desechos como un file de transportar huevos, un pedacito de Poliespuma de sellar calfrisa ( casas para curar tabaco a vapor) pegamento casero, un pedacito de placa de cemento espumoso de falso techo, un pedacito de lija, pintura de vinil y pintura al Óleo, además de pinceles.
Primero hago las piezas independientes.
Con un cuchillo recorto un pedazo de la Poliespuma, la lasqueo y con una cuchilla cartonera le doy forma petaloide de diferentes tamaños .
Con un pedacito de lija de agua le retiró las asperezas hasta dejar los pedacito en estado de pulimento.
Tomo una sección del file para huevos y lo recortó hasta obtener un pequeño embase cónico . También de la Poliespuma tomo otro pedacito redondo pero con la superficie tosca para rellenar el embase.
Como les muestro en la secuencia fotográfica. Voy haciendo el ensamblaje de todas las partes pegando y adicionando petalos al cactus según la forma que se le quiera dar.
Estás artesanías son muy pequeñas y muy propicias para obsequiar en diferentes ocaciones.y tienen mucha aceptación por el acercamiento a la naturaleza y no necesita de cuidados adicionales como el real.
Después de estar todas las partes ensambladas. Se procede a la etapas de decorado con los diferentes colores tanto para la imitación del cactus, como de la maceta con colores tierras tocando la superficie con pincel seco para resaltar texturas con blanco u otro colo claro, y por ultimo la base, la cual casi siempre pinto de color oscuro, preferiblemente negro.
Los detalles dentro de los pétalos los realizó con un pincel fino o con una varilla muy fina mojando la punta en pintura blanca de aceite y tocando la superficie del materias rápido y suave para que el punteo quedé a distancia y ordenado.
Ya este ejemplar está listo para la comercialización o para obsequiar a alguna vista al taller,
Este trabajo tiene una producción en serie pero se diferencia la el proceso industrial en que aquí cada pieza es ejemplar único.

I was reviewing some posts and besides seeing the work of new creators, I was also studying the possibilities of exposing my skills for others to know them.
I want in my first post for you to offer you something of my passion for popular and artistic crafts.
First I tell you that I really like the use of recyclable resources, such as cardboard, glass, plastic, and natural resources such as wood, seeds, stones and how many resources suggest me the possibility of creating.
I create my own projects or prototypes of things and objects to make basically unique pieces.
Now I present to you the process to make a potted plant with CACTUS. Of course it is a handmade imitation of this element of nature which I have tried to reproduce and make the closest possible approach to nature.
The presence of the cactus in multiple varieties and species has been increasing in recent times in homes, at least here in Cuba. With this plant different indoor and outdoor spaces are decorated and different healing, mystical and esoteric properties are attributed to them, where they work as homemade amulets and protection against negative energies or to keep away some disturbing spirits.
The truth is that the market of these plants has grown and they are quoted, depending on the species, at increasing values.
To elaborate this craft I have used different materials almost all of waste as a file of transporting eggs, a piece of Poliespuma of sealing calfrisa (houses to cure tobacco to steam) homemade glue, a piece of plate of foamy cement of false ceiling, a piece of sandpaper, vinyl paint and oil paint, in addition to brushes.
First I make the independent pieces.
With a knife I cut out a piece of the polyfoam, I lash it and with a cardboard knife I shape it into petaloids of different sizes.
With a piece of water sandpaper I remove the roughness until the pieces are polishe
He took a section of the egg file and cut it into a small cone-shaped container. Also from the polyfoam he took another small round piece but with a rough surface to fill the container.
As I show you in the photographic sequence. I make the assembly of all the parts by gluing and adding petals to the cactus according to the shape I want to give it.
These crafts are very small and very suitable for gifts on different occasions. They are very popular because they are very close to nature and do not need additional care like the real thing.
After all the parts are assembled. We proceed to the stages of decoration with different colors for both the imitation of the cactus, as the pot with earth colors touching the surface with dry brush to highlight textures with white or other light color, and finally the base, which is almost always painted in dark color, preferably black.
The details inside the petals are made with a fine brush or with a very fine stick dipping the tip in white oil paint and touching the surface of the material quickly and smoothly so that the stippling is at a distance and orderly.
This piece is ready to be sold or to be given as a gift at a visit to the workshop,
This work has a mass production but differs from the industrial process in that here each piece is unique.
