To begin, I drew the Walle on a piece of paper to make a template that I then transferred to the wallet to mark it.

Then I began to cut the CD discs with the help of scissors and very carefully because this material can cut fingers.
Cutting each piece is not an easy task since it is a very brittle material and the cut does not always go where you want and so a lot of creativity is needed to design with this type of material.
I was arranging the cut pieces to form the body of the whale, leaving a small space between the top and bottom to better define both parts. I also placed the fins, the tail and the little horn that I like so much.
Luego empecé a recortar los discos CD con ayuda de la tijera y con mucho cuidado por que este material puede cortar los dedos.
Cortar cada pieza no es tarea fácil ya que es un material muy quebradizo y no siempre el corte sale por donde quieres y entonces se necesita de mucha creatividad para diseñar con este tipo de material.
Fui acomodando los pedazos recortados para formar el cuerpo de la ballena, dejando un pequeño espacio entre la parte superior de la inferior para definir mejor ambas partes, también coloqué las aletas, la cola y el cuernito que tanto me gusta.
Then I began to glue each piece of the CD onto the wallet with acetate and pressed it with my fingers so that it stuck evenly, covering all the spaces well, and I used the red pearl for the little eye.
Luego empecé a pegar con acetato cada pedacito del CD en la cartera y lo presionaba con los dedos para que pegara de manera uniforme, cubriendo bien todos los espacios y utilicé la perlita roja para el ojito.
This is the final result of the new decoration of my portfolio with the radiant walle.
I must honestly tell you that the work was not easy, but the result was very gratifying because I achieved what I really wanted.
