Last month, my classmates and I had an adventure as part of our Physical Education (P.E). To get our clearance signed, we needed to do a mountaineering activity. There were lots of options, but since we all love adventures, we decided to go hiking.
Good day!!! My lovely hivers, In today's blog, I want to share our hiking experience with you.
My classmates and I had a call time of 7:00 am, and we all planned to meet at the school to head out together. Most of us were early, but some of my classmates arrived around 8:00 am!
Once everyone finally arrived, we go immediately. We wanted to enjoy the beautiful view and avoid the mid day because its hot.
This time, we're starting our hike with so much excitement, excited to see the top and the stunning view of Mt. Verallo. We don't know this place well, so we're thankful for my classmate @itsmateo who's guiding us.
The path is full of green plants, which look really nice. The wind is very cold, making everything feel fresh and cool.
We never thought it would rain since the weather was perfect when we began our hike. At first, we thought we were unlucky, but the, I can say that the rain actually made our adventure more exciting.
Personally, I think mountaineering is best when it's raining. I can feel nature hugging me. Walking among these trees feels like home. It's so peaceful, the sounds of raindrops, the fresh air, is so calming.
Despite the slippery trail, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.
I can't imagine that there we're house in here. It must be so tiring to go to the store, get food, and then climb all the way back up to get home.
My classmate said they used to live here, which is why he knows the area so well. If you come here and aren't familiar with the place, you'll definitely get lost. Plus, there's no signal here at all.
At this moment, we can't take more videos or pictures because the rain is so heavy, and our phones are too wet to use.
However, one of our classmates had a better idea he wrapped his phone in plastic, so he managed to take some pictures and videos.
While we were walking, we spotted a beautiful view and a perfect spot for taking photos.
@melcakes was the first to start taking photos, and since we all loved the view , we joined in to take some pictures for some documentation.
Even though it was still raining, we didn’t let it stop us and kept taking photos away.
And then there’s me, so happy because I finally get to see this wonderful view. I’m completely lost in the beauty of it all.
Omgggggg !!!! My eyes cant believe that I'm seeing this in front of me. We're here at the top of Mt. Verallo!! I can't describe how mesmerizing this place, I'm speechless.
Thanks to our adviser @callmesmile for giving us tasks like this. It's even more beautiful in person when you see it with your own eyes.
And a big thanks to my classmate our tour guide @itsmateo for taking us to this stunning spot. I really want to come back here, maybe on a sunny day, but even in the rain like today, it's magical.
Even when the weather isn't perfect, @melcakes always finds a way to take pictures.
More photos!!! My classmate jokingly told my other classmate that it was raining because he hadn’t taken a shower, and we all laughed about it.
Little did they know, I hadn’t showered either, but I just kept laughing along. I’m actually loving the rain while enjoying the view of these mountains. It’s such a great feeling to vent out and let go of some problems.
We're just waiting for a little while for the rain to stop so we can get a clear view of the beauty of Mt. Verallo.
When the rain stopped, we started taking more pictures.
Nature never fails me!!! I still can't get over the beauty of Mt. Verallo. I'm craving another hike so badly, but my father won't let me go out.
He only allowed me to go that day because it was part of our class activity. I really hope someone will message me soon about going on another hike. I'm so bored at home with the same routine every day.
