When my love for Sim City was at its peak, Sim Theme Park appeared, where the objective was to create parks and I was transformed into a virtual mechanical attractions engineer and a very efficient administrator, but there were also games where I went bankrupt.

I remember that I alternated playing Sim City and Theme Park and I thought it was wonderful that the parks I created could be inserted in the first one, but at that time I didn't notice an important detail, they were from different companies.

Sim Theme Park is a simulation game developed by Bullfrog Productions and released for the PC in 1994.

In this game, players assume the role of a theme park manager and are tasked with building and managing their own park.

Players can design and customise every aspect of their park, from the rides and shops to the layout of the paths and decorations.

The main goal of the game is to attract as many visitors as possible and keep them happy to generate revenue and grow the park.

Players must carefully balance ticket prices, attraction quality, food and beverage variety, and overall visitor satisfaction.

Sim Theme Park offers a wide range of themed attractions, from roller coasters to live shows, and players can also research and unlock new attractions as they progress through the game.

In addition to managing the park, players must also deal with challenges such as attraction maintenance, employee satisfaction and budget management.

Sim Theme Park has been praised for its addictive gameplay and attention to detail in creating virtual theme parks.

In the first version, which was the one I played, the graphics were in perspective and in 256 colours.

Due to its sales success the game was later ported to multiple platforms: Panasonic 3DO, Amiga, Mega Drive, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Super Nintendo, Atari Jaguar, Apple Macintosh and Sega CD.
