If you've been obsessively watching the price of Hive and HBD increase, with a feeling of excitement and anticipation for the price to skyrocket, hold on tight. You've no doubt seen the price has fallen considerably, hovering around $0.48/Hive to about $0.38/Hive. "I thought we were in a crypto bull market?" We are.

It's also down from breaching $70,000. Don't freak out. From what I've been hearing from others, it's expected for the price of Bitcoin to drop before the halvening happens. Once that's done and some weak hands and long-term hodlers sell out, price will climb again once it's confirmed even fewer Bitcoin rewards will be up for grabs.
Focus on The Positive
Let's look at things differently to better appreciate the situation of Hive. Up until now, Bitcoin had continued to do well in price, while Hive price languished and then dropped further. What we have now is a more positive market price correlation between Bitcoin and Hive. While right now that means price has dropped, it at least indicates Hive is certainly benefiting from the beginnings of this crypto bull market. Even better news is we have a better indication of where Hive price is going, since it's no longer "doing its own thing" and being wildly unpredictable.
I'm sitting tight. There will be time later to take profits. For now, I'm taking an opportunity to dollar cost average a little lower and get some more Hive drip investments lined up. Once Hive price climbs up again, those drips will be worth so much more in the near future. Buckle up, keep your arms and legs in the ride at all times, and off we go! 🤑
