Hello Hivers! It’s me Maheart 🤗. These past few weeks, a lot has happened to me. Let me share to all of you a story about friendship. This could be either a good or bad story haha. At first, I really don’t believe in fate. I just thought it would only be applied to romantic kind of love. But now fate has brought us all to this point. I have been in a seven-year friendship with these people.

We were all schoolmates when we were in high school, but we were not really close until we became Grade 10. There’s this one friend of mine that I was close with at the start of my middle school years. She has been my best friend because we were classmates and we live near to each other so most times, we will walk together going home. But after a year, I was transferred to another section, and after that we lost communication with each other, and maybe because I was still a child, I didn’t really care about it. Then we just became acquintances, and after 6 years, we met again because we became classmates. I was not really close to her at that time until we became Grade 10. That’s when we became deeply close to each other.

Then, some of us have been close because we were classmates then when we became seniors I was introduced to some friends of friends that eventually became close to me. After that, our friendship with each other grows stronger, and we’re happier. Even when we turned college, our friendship is still there and for me they were my comfort. Sometimes there are misunderstandings but I still hold on to that hope that everything will be fine and be great again. I have realized that misunderstandings in a friendship could be two things. It’s either you could learn more about yourself and others or you could lose a friend. Thankfully, that hasn't happened. Maybe we’re like magnets for each other. Even if we are separated for a moment, we will always come back and just accept our flaws. What I realize these days, there is really no perfect friendship. We all have flaws, and as time goes by, people could change, but I accept those changes within them because they also accept me for who I am.
You could not really know a person if you don’t try to get to know them. I have been close to them for almost half of my life, and I am thankful. We were together through our ups and downs, and it feels like I treat them as much as I do in a romantic relationship hahaha. The bonds we have created with each other have just grown deeper. Now, I don’t know if it is really fate that has brought us together or if we just really decided to get close with each other and keep this friendship forever 😆. Still at the end of the day, you have a choice, and my choice is to support this friendship and be with them as long as I can (sound like an emo girl😅). It’s not because I am in a tough time right now, but I am practicing to realize something at the end of every day, so in that way I could learn more about myself.
