After the cherry blossoms had bloomed, we have had stormy weather and rain many times since then, and the cherry blossoms have quickly fallen.
I went for a walk two days ago, and at that time, there were very few cherry blossoms left to photograph.
Still, there were a few cherry blossoms left, and although it was evening, there were quite a few people relaxing under the blossoms, eating snacks and drinking drinks.
This is a large park in my immediate neighborhood, about a 10 minute walk from my house, about 15 minutes.
It is a long, old park with a long history, and there were many old buildings and many steps in the park, but about 2 years ago there was a thorough remodeling project that made it flat and wheelchair accessible.
In addition, many sweet stores and restaurants like the one in the photo were opened.
This is a sweets store, and right now they are selling spring strawberry bread.
This is a row of restaurants and snack stores just inside the west entrance to the park.
The west entrance is the busiest part of the park because it is a 30-second walk from the station.

This building is the library.
It is a fairly large library in the city and has very good study seats and study rooms.
When the mini-golf facility was here, the boundary with this library was separated by steps, a stone wall, and a hedge, so it was impossible to come and go here.
Now it has been remodeled so that people can come and go like this, and it is completely barrier-free.
Visitors can now borrow books from the library and take them with them through here.
This improvement seems to have been the centerpiece of the construction work in this area.

PRONTO here is a café in the morning and during the daytime, and becomes an izakaya from 5:00 pm.
I have always been quite fond of PRONTO's menu and the store's design, and I love the mixed atmosphere of the café and tavern in the evening.
I have yet to visit PRONTO here as it was very crowded when it first opened after the remodeling of the park was finished and the surrounding stores opened one after another, but I hope to wander over there soon.
The one with the cherry trees has a green area and benches, and there were people sitting here reading books and relaxing, so I did not take any pictures.
On the other side of the cherry tree, there is this PRONTO terrace, and people with pets seem to be let through here.
The park is really big and you can see a lot of cars on the other side.
Why so many cars? Those are kitchen cars.
During the season when the cherry blossoms are in bloom, many kitchen cars enter the central plaza.
There are so many stylish and delicious looking food menus that the power of temptation is too strong (LOL).
Many tables and chairs are set up on the street leading to the central plaza of the park.

For a month or so during the cherry blossom season, a venue like this is set up in the park where visitors can enjoy yakiniku and beer.
This is developed by a beer hall restaurant in the neighborhood and is an annual event and an April tradition in this park.
Due to COVID-19 measures, it will not be held for about 3 years starting in 2020, and it seems that people who look forward to this beer garden were very disappointed.

もう桜の季節も終盤です。
せっかく桜が開花したのに、その後まるで嵐のような天気や雨がなん度もあって、あっと言う間に桜の花は散ってしまいました。
私が散歩に行ったのは2日前ですが、この時、撮影できる桜の花は本当に少なくなっていました。
それでも少しは桜の花が残っていて、夕方だけど、花の下で軽食を食べたり飲み物を飲んでくつろいでいる人がかなりたくさんいました。
ここは私の自宅から歩いて10分が15分くらいのすぐ近所にある大きな公園です。
歴史の長い、古くからある公園で、古い建物がたくさんあって、公園内にたくさんの段差があったのですが、約2年前から徹底的な改造工事があって、車椅子でもフラットに行き来できるようになりました。
また、写真のようなスイーツのお店やレストランがたくさんできました。
ここはスイーツショップなのですが、今は春のいちごパンを売っているようです。
ここは公園の西側入り口から入ってすぐのところにあるレストランや軽食店の並んでいるところです。
西側の入り口は駅から徒歩30秒なので、一番賑わっているところです。
テイクアウトできるサンドイッチやアイスクリームが売られています。
店の向かい側には緑の緑地とベンチが整備されました。
この場所は今のように改造工事が完了する前は、ミニゴルフができる屋外施設があったのですが、利用者がとても少なくなっていて、あまり稼働していなかったようです。
この状態になって、都市でグリーンを堪能できる貴重な空間になったと思います。
少し進むと前方に建物が見えてきます。
この建物は図書館です。
市内ではかなり大きな図書館で、自習席・自習室もとても充実しています。
ミニゴルフ施設があった時は、この図書館との境界を段差と石垣と生垣で区切っていたので、ここは行き来することができませんでした。
それが改造されてこのように行き来できるようになり、完全にバリアフリーになりました。
図書館で本を借りて、それを持ってここを通過できるようになりました。
この改善はこのエリアの工事の目玉だったようです。

まだ桜が残っていてキレイです。
そしてPRONTOが見えますね。
ここのPRONTOは、午前中と昼間はカフェで、17:00から居酒屋になります。
私は以前からPRONTOのメニューやお店の作りがかなり好きで、夕方からのカフェと居酒屋が混ざり合った雰囲気が大好きです。
公園の改造工事が終わり、周囲のお店も次々と開店して、ここのPRONTOも開店当初、非常に混雑していたのでまだ未訪問なんですが、近いうちにふらっと行きたいと思っています。
桜の木がある方は緑地とベンチがあって、ここでは座って本を読んだりくつろいでいる人がいらっしゃったので、写真は取らないでおきました。
桜と反対側にはこのPRONTOのテラス席があって、ペットを連れている人はここへ通されるようです。
公園は本当に広く、向こう側にはたくさんの車が見えます。
なぜ車の中にたくさんの車が？ あれはキッチンカーです。
桜が咲いているシーズンの間はキッチンカーが中央広場にたくさん入場しています。
おしゃれで美味しそうなフードメニューがいっぱいあって、誘惑のパワーが強すぎです(lol)
公園の中央広場へ向かう通りにたくさんのテーブルと椅子が設置されています。

なんと、これビアガーデンなんです。季節限定の。
桜の花のシーズンのほんの1か月くらいの間、公園の中にこんなふうに会場が設営されて、焼肉とビールを楽しむことができるようになります。
これは近所にあるビアホールのお店が展開しているもので、この公園の4月の風物詩で、恒例行事です。
COVID-19対策のため、2020年から3年程度の間開催されなくて、このビアガーデンを楽しみにしている人たちはとても残念に思っていたみたいです。
この写真を撮ったのは17:30頃です。
入り口のところでは、これから入場する人が手続きをしていました。焼肉とビール、楽しんでね！
最後まで綺麗に咲いていた桜を撮影することができて、また、たくさんの人が公園で夕方の散歩や軽食を楽しんでいるのどかな風景を見ることができて、私の心が癒されました。
やっと花粉症もピークを超えて、目の痒さが落ち着いて来ました。
明日、最後の桜を見る散歩に行くつもりですが、本当にあっと言う間に4月の前半が終わってしまったことを実感する週末になりそうです。
■ひとこと日記
天気予報で言われていた「ヒノキ花粉のピークと終わりの時期」がまるで預言のようにあたったみたいで、私の花粉症の症状が落ち着いて来ました。
ヒノキ花粉はゴールデンウィーク頃まで苦しむ年もあるので、今年は早かったなぁと感じています。
