Last shift and a break

Today's my last shift at the bookies and I was hoping for a quiet shift because it's a Sunday but with the grand national just around the corner, the chances of calm are next to zero. I've been blessed to have worked in the bookies and I'll be taking this experience with me to my next role.

Just like any other job, there are good and bad days. The good outweighs the bad though and all I have is gratitude for the experience.

My experience in the UK has been an incredible journey that has me on the path to even bigger opportunities and I simply want to keep growing. This is why I intend to consistently improve, get better roles and improve our quality of life.

I have a good feeling about my next role and what it has to offer. It feels like there's some room for growth and self development in the job, so I'll be exploring those lines.

I'll be taking a one week holiday to rest and also prepare for all the travelling I'll have to do when I start my new job. I'll have to commute from Nottingham to Leicester for at least 7 weeks,so I need to make all the necessary plans for that.

Anyway, for now, I'm just sipping a cold one and following football. Tomorrow heralds the preparation for my next journey and I totally look forward to it.
