I can't elaborate on a match made in heaven without bringing in my personal life experience, most especially my marriage life. I was so happy to see this topic, as it has been something I have been so happy to discuss.
I can call my'marriage made in heaven’ as it has been tested and dusted.
The very day I saw my husband, I knew he was the one made for me. So many men came up trying to get my hands on marriage, but they were all not my match, even though they were well-known men and had money. I just believed that money could never buy me because I was just too expensive. The cost was not for money, but I cannot be bought because I'm the most precious being ever created.
A man was brought by one of my relatives to our house. He said he had seen me before and had feelings for me. He said he would want to get married to me, but to his surprise, I rejected him because he was not made for me. He drove an expensive car to my compound, thinking I could fall so cheap for those things.
Some months later, my neighbor's brother came to visit. He was slim, and with the look on his face, he was calm and innocent. Although so many people with innocent looks would turn out to be terrors, I still got this feeling that he was a calm and cool-headed soul. When he spoke, it was just as if I were dying inside of me, hoping to get closer to him. ‘This is my type of man’, I said to myself. I tried to listen to every word being spoken out of his mouth, and he was dying inside. I fell immediately. This had not happened to me for once in my life.
The next day, my neighbor and his brother, as well as one of my neighbor's friends, came to our house for what I knew less of. I tried to figure out the reason they came but left abate. After some minutes of sitting, they opened up to my dad that they had come just because what they were searching for was in our house. I was still lost in their parable. After some minutes, everything was made known that I was the reason they came to my house. I was surprised to hear that word and, at the same time, was happy. I did not see that coming anyway, but then I did not reject him, even though he was not buoyant enough. When they were through, he excused me, and I followed. He began to talk to me, and it was a good and real conversation. With the words coming out, I got to understand the fact that he has a good heart.
According to him, he was not staying in the town but in the city. After a few days, he traveled back. He was calling me five times a day and every day. My mom likes him so much, as well as my dad. We got married, and we were living together as husband and wife. I began to show him some character just to test his loyalty. Usually, I would frown on my face, pretending to be having a headache. He would go to the market and purchase food. Sporadically, I would want him to react to my behavior; instead, he would be the one apologizing for what he did not do.
One fateful day, I had to ask him to tell me the truth: ‘Why are you not always reacting when I do things not worth doing?’ He would reply, ‘Because I love you so much." I knew right from the onset that he loved me to the brim and I loved him in return. After that day, I was always loyal to my husband and was obedient. My marriage is the one called “made in heaven.” This is one fact I can never doubt. Meanwhile, I thought the frequent calling would stop after our marriage, but it kept increasing the more. Anytime I said I needed something, there was no way he wouldn’t come around, except if he was in a place very far from home.
My husband would tell me to sleep while he cooked. One day when he was back from work, I refused to prepare his food. He got angry and was talking hastily, which I think every man should do. When I rose and started talking back, just seeing his reactions, he turned out apologizing to me. That day, I pleaded that I was just testing his patience. I later apologized to him, and ever since that day, I was always preparing his food before his arrival.
Our relationship is one in town. It is the only relationship that can never crash. We are both made to be one from heaven.
