En el camino de la iniciativa empresarial, debo confesar que, aunque es gratificante, siempre está lleno de retos que hay que superar. Todo el mundo quiere tener éxito como empresario, pero la verdad es que nadie quiere pagar el precio y los sacrificios que conlleva. Si nos fijamos en algunas personas del mundo de los emprendedores, como Elon Musk, Ali Baba y muchos otros, vemos que tienen rasgos clave que les han llevado a la grandeza.
Estos son algunos de los rasgos de los que hablaré hoy en mi post de hoy. Estad atentos. Por supuesto, el primero que voy a mencionar es la pasión, porque la pasión es el punto de referencia del éxito. De hecho, diré que la pasión es uno de los rasgos más importantes que todo emprendedor debería tener en cuenta, porque es la fuerza que te impulsa a seguir adelante incluso cuando te enfrentas a desafíos. Puede que a veces te sientas frustrado en tu negocio, pero es la pasión lo que te hará seguir adelante.
El segundo rasgo del que quiero hablar es la resiliencia. La resiliencia es la capacidad de sobreponerse a los fracasos y a los obstáculos. Este rasgo se refiere a la forma de reaccionar ante los retos. La mayoría de las veces, los empresarios fracasan porque no son capaces de recuperarse tras un fracaso. Pero con este rasgo, en lugar de ver el fracaso y los errores como el final del camino, te permite estar motivado incluso para seguir adelante y continuar hasta conseguirlo. Te hace ver el fracaso como oportunidades para aprender a ser mejor e incluso alcanzar el éxito que deseas.
El tercer rasgo del que me gustaría hablar es la Adaptabilidad. La adaptabilidad te ayuda a prosperar como empresario. Y la verdad es que todo empresario debe aprender a adaptarse. Debes aprender a adaptarte a nuevos entornos, nuevas tendencias, nuevos mercados y mucho más. Uno de los ejemplos de adaptabilidad que he visto es Netflix. Empezaron como un servicio de alquiler de DVD, pero con el tiempo cambiaron a modelos de streaming. Eso es adaptabilidad, ya que fueron capaces de darse cuenta de las tendencias que se estaban produciendo en el mundo digital a través de Internet y las aprovecharon al máximo.
El siguiente tema del que me gustaría hablar es lo que yo llamo creatividad. La creatividad te permite innovar. En uno de mis artículos, hablé de los beneficios de la innovación y de su gran influencia en el espíritu empresarial. Si lo compruebas, los emprendedores de éxito son aquellos que son capaces de innovar. Se trata de la capacidad de ser capaz de pensar fuera de la caja con el fin de encontrar soluciones a los problemas. Esto también te hace ser único y destacar en el sistema de mercado más allá de lo que puedas imaginar. Todo empresario creativo acaba triunfando.
El siguiente rasgo del que hablaremos es la visión. Como dice el refrán popular, cuando no se planifica, se planifica para fracasar. Como empresario, no debes limitarte a llevar tu negocio como venga. Tienes que ser visionario. De hecho, la visión es lo que le distinguirá de los demás empresarios medios. Tiene que saber hacia dónde quiere que se dirija su empresa, y en general se trata de objetivos a largo plazo. No sólo debe tener visión para crear, sino también para mantener lo que ha creado. Es realmente importante.
Toda empresa que tiene éxito hoy en día se nutre de un buen liderazgo y eso es lo que me llevará a hablar de lo siguiente. Como empresario, debes ser un buen líder. El liderazgo es un rasgo importante que todo empresario de éxito debe tener, ya que le permitirá crear y dirigir equipos y, de hecho, le permitirá tomar decisiones importantes en las que no había pensado. Como empresario, tienes que entender que tus mayores recursos que determinarán el éxito de tu negocio son las personas y debes posicionarte estratégicamente para ser capaz de gestionar a las personas con eficacia.
El siguiente rasgo del que hablaremos es la asunción de riesgos. Como siempre se dice, la vida está llena de riesgos y, sobre todo, si quieres alcanzar el éxito, debes estar dispuesto a asumirlos, te guste o no, y eso es lo bonito. Permítanme crear un equilibrio: como empresario, también hay que tener mucho cuidado con el tipo de riesgo que se asume. Debes ser capaz de asumir riesgos calculados por ti mismo. Debes asegurarte de que el riesgo que asumes hasta cierto punto producirá el resultado que deseas.
Por último, como conclusión, debes ser disciplinado como empresario. La disciplina es el punto de referencia y, de hecho, significa que has sido capaz de mantener la concentración y seguir adelante. Has sido capaz de superar las distracciones, la procastinación, la pereza y también la gestión del tiempo. Un empresario de éxito debe comprender la importancia de la disciplina no sólo para gestionar su tiempo, sino también sus recursos al final del día. In the journey of entrepreneurship, I must confess that even though it is rewarding but it is always filled with a lot of challenges that one needs to overcome along the path. Everyone's want to actually be successful as entrepreneurs but the truth is nobody actually wants to pay the price and sacrifices it entails. If you should look at some certain people in the entrepreneurs world like Elon musk, Ali Baba and many more which have key traits that pushed them to greatness.
These are some of the traits I will be talking about today in my post today. Stay tuned. Of course the first I will be mentioning is Passion because passion is the benchmark of success. In fact I will say passion is one of the most important trait that every entrepreneur should point to because it is the driving force for you to keep going even when you keep facing challenges. There are times you might even be frustrated in your business but it is the passion that will keep you going in your business.
The second trait I will like to talk about is Resilience. Resilience is the ability for you to o be able to overcome failures and setabcks. This trait deals with how you can react to challenges. Most times why we have entrepreneurs that failed is because they are not able to bounce back on their feet after failure. But with this trait, instead of seeing failure and mistakes as the end of the road, it allows you to be motivated to even keep going and keep going to achieve it. It makes you see failure as opportunities to learn to become better and even achieve the success you desire.
The third trait I will like to talk about is Adaptability. Adaptability talks about you thriving as an entrepreneur. And the truth is, every entrepreneur must learn how to adapt. You must learn how to adapt to new environment, new trends, new markets and many more. One of the adaptability as an example I have noticed is Netflix. They first started as a DVD rental service but as time goes on, they shifted to streaming models. That is Adaptability as they were able to notice the trends happening in the digital world using the internet and they make utmost use of it.
The next one I will definitely like to talk about is what I called creativity. Creativity allows you to be able to actually innovate. In one of my post, I talked about the benefits of Innovation and how it carries so much power in entrepreneurship. If you should check, successful entrepreneurs are those who are capable of innovating. This is the ability of you to be able to think outside of the box in order to find solution to problems. This also makes you to be unique and stand out in the market system beyond you can ever imagine of. Every creative entrepreneur is one that will eventually succeed.
The next trait will talk about is vision. Like the popular saying that when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. As an entrepreneur, you must not just run your business as it comes. You need to be visionary. In fact vision is what will distinguished you from others average business owners. You need to have directions as to where you want your business to head to and this is talking about long-term goals Generally. You must not only have vision to create but also have vision to sustain that which you created. It is really important.
Every business that is successful today thrives on good leadership and that is what will lead me to discuss about this next one. As an entrepreneur, you must be a good leader. Leadership is an important trait every successful entrepreneurs must have as this will allow you to build and lead teams and in fact allow you to make important decisions that you haven't thought about. As an entrepreneur, you need to understand that your greatest resources that will determine the success of your business are people and you must strategically position yourself to be able to manage people effectively.
The next trait will talk about is risk taking. Like they always say that life is full of risk and most especially if you want to achieve success, you must actually be ready to take risk whether you like it or not and that is just the beauty about it. Now let me create balance, as an entrepreneur you must also be very careful of the type of risk you take. You must be able to take calculated risk alone. You must make sure that the risk you are taking to an extent will produce the result you desire .
Lastly as I conclude, you must be discipline as an entrepreneur. Discipline is the benchmark and in fact it means you been able to stay focused and keep going. You been able to overcome distractions, procastination, laziness and also time management. Successful entrepreneur must understand the importance of discipline in not only managing their time but also their resources at the end of the day. Discipline will help you to be committed to achieving your goals at the end of the day.
